Glen think you are doing a great job.

Any connection between the club and fans has now been broken with Saturday's game clearly showing the owners, management, manager and even the players want nothing to do with the fans.

Wouldn't it be great if the club came out and tried to defuse the situation by stopping their constant attempts at dividing the fans. Agnew and his cronies have a lot to answer for. Kean's job is not the only job untenable at the club.

Venkys are the only ones who can stop the rot by removing the manager and those at the club who have driven this publicity campaign and then starting talking to the fans.

I wouldn't worry what Kean says he is only trying to infuence the owners but managing to antagonise the fans at the same time.

Never has this club been in such a sorry state. I actually think the best thing that could happen next Saturday is for us to play terribly and take a proper tanking to show the Kean supporting media how bad this is getting and maybe trigger something because if we carry on as we are we are destined to go down and worse I would think.

Full respect to Glenn for sticking up for his beliefs.

Glen, these people at the club are not Rovers, they are passing through. They seem to want to divide & conquer thus taking control with the majority powerless. They may have the money but we have the number.

I'm an Ossy lad & we're not all knuckle draggers, maybe if you were 6' 5" & built like an outhouse, you would be left alone. Ossy is feeling the pain of the venky's too.

On a side note, a board will keep a manager no matter who calls for his head, that soon changes when you call for the boards head. I've no faith in venkys getting the right man ever. Good luck. Venkys out.

Very well put glen it can't be easy putting these things down when they have now become personal but I admire your integrity and conduct throughout this sorry episode I just hope these clowns realise their mistakes and put them right before it's too late by the way the picture on your facebook page of your daughter she looks really cute being held by your wife. I hope you and your family can get through this because it must be very upsetting and hope the family get through this. As they say what goes around comes around what these clowns are doing with their threats will come back on them ten times worse. I also feel very ashamed being an Indian man myself majority of us are good law abiding citizens what these businessmen makes me ashamed to even be associated with such criminals.

Chin up Glen, unfortunately when you're at the forefront of something like this you'll always come across a few cretins. You've done a great job, and have plenty to be proud of. Just make sure your wife and kids get the attention they deserve, mate, and keep them safe.

You're spot on about the club though, from top to bottom it is an absolute disgrace at the moment. The only reason I can honestly say I support Rovers now is because the club is in my heart and in my blood - logically it makes little sense to support what the club has become.

Venky's, Agnew, Kean, Anderson and the rest of them do not and will not ever represent what Blackburn Rovers truly is. They'll be gone sooner or later, and as long as the club is still here.... I'll still be here to support it, no matter which division we've been dragged down to. I just hope this collective disease we inherited around this time last year is cured before it's too late.

I was relating Glen's story to a mate (an LFC supporter) today.

His reply: "why would you want to belong to something that gets that bad?"

Whilst we all agree that football is a passionate sport, there are the normal constraints of civility that need to adhered to, one of those is accepting that people will have different points of view. IF, in having a different point of view, you are driven to the point of wanting to "deck" some one and/or want to harm their family, then you have totally, totally lost all sense of reality.

I'm saddened to think there are Rovers "supporters" out there that would go to this extent.

You know who the individual is and that he assaulted you in front of witnesses. If he is the same person who made the other threats to you and your family and this can be proven then you must report this to the Police and let them deal with it. In a situation like this is does not matter that the other person is also a Rovers fan. Do not try and be a martyr - only a few would care, sadly. The main issue here are the threats to your family, if he has attacked you then there has to be a possiblity of risk to them.

If he is a Rovers fan, a lifetime ban from Ewood and an injunction for him to be banned from being anywhere within a mile of Glen or his family!

The Venkys would probably parade him as the head of "anti protest movement"

"My wife was in a similar mood and felt that Blackburn Rovers was tearing our family apart"

This would put me off, my girlfriend would dump my arse, lucky your married I guess lol my girlfriend is much more important then Blackburn, she comes first

"2pm yesterday afternoon these threats became more than threats when I was attacked by a fellow Rovers supporter who admitted it was he who had been issuing threats"

As point above, thats pretty intense

This is a little bit like Glen (the good) verse Kean (the bad)

I don't see how Glen can win though.

Kean will do too much damage before he is sacked, Kean loses, Glen loses

If Kean did suddenly get great (unlikely), Glen would become a scapegoat, Kean wins, Glen loses

Thing have gone too far.

It is quite amazing how almost powefrul Glen has become in the press, I still think Kean has this massive advantage which is hard to rise above. Kean's lies are more powerful then the truth, which is hard to accept.

Hadn't read Glen's blog before and have to say I am shocked and saddened by the behaviour of so-called fellow fans. Whilst disagreeing on a messageboard is one thing, threats to him and his family, and idiots taking a swing are dreadful. Glen, I haven't always agreed with you but I remain in awe at your commitment and whilst you should do what is right for you and your family I hope you don't let idiots like that get to you

Glen that is a superb opinion piece and pretty well hits every nail on the head.

My current best guess is that two things are happening concurrently:

- the Rao family have lost faith in everybody except Mrs D clinging to Kean. Therefore communication cut to nil.

- the Rao family rowing between themselves. Therefore decisions coming out of Pune appear random with some of them being no more than moves in the inter-sibling rivalry.
