Yeah, I enjoy a good debate... It's what we come on here for anyway isn't it.

I really can't see him being removed though, there's obviously underlying reasons as to why... Any other club would have removed him long since. It's at a point were Keans future is more important than winning games, if he cared about the club and had any soul at all he would step down. How can you still want to be manager at a club people genuinely hate you? Says a lot about the man.

Anyway nowt personal, emotions high tonight.

Defeatist or realist?

The changes I want now are to prepare us for the Championship next season. Get a manager who knows the lower leagues and can find a few bargains. Sell the big earners in January whilst they still have some value and bring in proven Championship players who know the league.

Well said, It is definitely a time for realism now. Question I have is... What happens next season if he's in charge?

I really dread to think.

I fear for Keans life if he isnt sacked at some point this season. A fan will snap at some point. There is alot of anger building up.

I wouldn't take it personal, my emotions were high too when I made my first post.

You're probably right... That's the only thing that seems to matter these days, I'm sure he will be spending that nice new contract income with a smile on his face tonight.

I'd love it if out of all this something positive happens e.g. Our fans become tighter like those at Portsmouth when this happened to them.

All that is left to play for now is to avoid setting some kind of (negative) record - i.e. most goals conceded, lowest points tally etc

Should be OK on that point. Derbt County in 2008/09 finished with 11 points, fewest goals scord (20) and hihest negative goal difference (-69)

WTF - never read such cr@p in my life, is that supposed to make us happy !?!?

Instead of moaning to the club about protesters and banners, you should have done something TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE and we just might have had a new manager if more had got off their arses and stopped pontificating.

I've just said that to my family. My dad would of probably been said fan tonight given the opportunity.

Seems like our actions of protest will come to nothing.

Unfortunately the club is rotten to the core.

All we can hope and pray for is new ownership; simple as that.

I am resigned to lower league football next season. But I keep hoping and praying for new owners.

Woeful as usual, SSDD for this season... thanks Kean.

Next 3 games..

Wolves 14pts - Norwich(h), Arsenal(a), Bolton(a)

Sunderland 14pts - Spuds(a), QPR(a), Everton(h)

Wigan 13pts - Liverpool(h), Man U(a), Stoke (a)

Blackburn 10pts - Bolton(h), Liverpool(a), Man U(a)

Bolton 9pts - Blackburn(a), NewC(h), Wolves(h)

Looks like a gap is growing and by the new year we will be 4-8pts from safety.

One thing I have noticed in our last few home games, teams come to Ewood park and almost play like it is a home game for them.. allot of pressure and possesion to say the least.

Kean has to go.. just the number of regular posters on here who decided to go elsewhere is scary.

As I left tonight and saw the faces of thousands of rovers fans i felt nothing but anger to the Indians who are ruining a club that's been around for many generations.

This cannot be right!

######...if kean hadnt subbed him odemwingi would not have had the freedomof the park down our left to cut in and score. Anither crap decision. Simon made lots of very intelligent runs....we just aint got the midfielders to find him...

I agree with you, one very good run in particular that was ignored by a greedy Rochina. It's not rubbish though we have far bigger problems than one individual being the difference between us winning and losing at the moment. Major problems that won't be fixed overnight, or by tuesday.

Never known an atmosphere like that in the BBE. Absolutely no singing until the latter end of the second half and only then it was the kean out stuff. Everyone seems to be resigned to relegation and in a state of disbelief at kean still being here.

The performance today was pants. It was a rubber dinghy men performance of the highest order. We have no central midfield, no target man, and no full backs. Exactly the same problems we had last year and none have been addressed.

Pedersen definitely at fault for second goal, made no attempt to put a foot in and just let him go inside. He was out of position numerous times second half. Having said that he got no support from anyone in front of him so no wonder he was all at sea.

Subs were absolutely appalling.

Lets not beat about the bush, we are down. As a previous poster stated, we need to prepare for the Fizzy pop league. Find a manager who can get us out of the Championship, get rid of the overpaid wasters at the club and try to mount a promotion challenge next year.

Angry and saddened tonight, Venkys to blame, gutless, spineless people. I hope that Karma visits them soon.

Finally - ###### to backing off kean. He's getting it from 20:00 on Tuesday.

No tactics, no tempo, very little passion on the field and created virtually nothing in open play. We even had to rely on a move from page 1 of Big Sam's tactics manual to score. Cannot remember when I have felt this bad after a Rovers game. Any remaining light at the end of the tunnel has now been extinguished courtesy of our great managerial mastermind and our so called owners.

Goodwille was also to blame on that one, he made no attempt to chase and block the shot. If Simon had still been on it might have helped as he's better at defensive chores and gave MGP some cover when on.

It's not right, but in this world money talks. Sadly they can do pretty much what they want with the club as they own it.

What annoys me the most is the fact the players will just find another club, leaving us fans with a shell of a club. Then they have the cheek to question the fans that are protesting.

Yep, they are to blame for our plight. They have been rubbish, and have any of them come out and said it isn't good enough? Nope, they blamed the fans. They should look in the mirror and see the players that have won just 7 games in a year.

Not many of them are that likeable at all. What we could do with a Savage right now. In fact, I'd get him in for Kean. At least he would care.

My Dad called me after the game tonight, he lives in Sheffield & listened to the radio to keep up with it. He is supposed to be driving over for the Bolton game to take me on as a little birthday treat & his first words when I picked up the phone were "I don't think I can face going on the game on Tuesday son... I've lost all faith"... For the man who took me on as a 2 year old boy & made me the Rover I am today to say that and mean it near as dammit broke my heart!!!

I've never seen a performance so bereft of fight, spirit, courage, creativity & passion, having to watch the current debacle brought about by the managers ineptitude was like sitting on a bench and watching your best mate getting beaten up & not being able to do anything about it.

As a manager myself, I asked myself one question after the game, and that was "how has Kean failed to motivate the players for such a crucial match?" And 3 hours later I cannot answer that... I would have had them raring to go, chomping at the bit and fighting tooth & nail for every ball, Kean sent them out already beaten... already relegated!!!

Its a sorry state of affairs, and unless they sack him, I feel as some have already said, it's going to get messy and we might end up seeing something happen to him that will make the fans at the club look a lot worse than we do already!!!

Do us a favour Venkys & get shut before it gets any worse!!!

Absolutely. Kean even admitted himself in his post match interview that we started poorly, but the interviewer didn't think to follow up with "why?".

This was Paul Ince's Wigan away all over again. Difference being this time we don't have a board capable of making the right decision.

No need to put a downer on our fans hi-jaq,they are the ONLY people who can hold their heads high in this debacle!

I'm not trying to put a downer on the fans, I thought the noise we made after they scored was incredible at points, but unfortunately for all the wrong reasons. I want us to be roaring the team on to glory, but instead we're having to call for the managers head.

When the fat lady is singing at the end of the season & we are facing life in the Championship we will be able to look back and say we did all we could, but unfortunately doing all we can is just going to fall on def ears, as our owners don't seem to give a flying monkey about what may or may not eventually happen.

I mentioned the managers ineptitude in my original post. But I feel the owners ineptitude also deserves a mention as its probably more apparent!!!

another truly shocking performance!!!

Kean tactics and subs were awful!!! When Hanley came on, the faces of Robinson, Samba and Dann said everything because they didn't have a clue what Kean tactics were.

the lack of depth in our squad is rubbish.

Kean has to go and I think he knows that he is very close to getting the sack!!! (hopefully this will happen tomorrow!)

Also on my way back to the car, i heard a child say to his dad that supporting rovers is embrassing now!!! his dad said the way rovers are being run and kean still being a manager is embrassing. and the fans are the biggest asset to the club and we must still support the club even if we disagree with kean being manager and the owners way of running the club!!!
