30 minutes for Sigurddson is the stand out for me.

I had worried we were going through this 7 games in 22 days coming up with no prospect of seeing him.

Agreed, important we start being able to at least utilise him off the bench soon. This squad will be too stretched otherwise. Also good to see Telalovic notch a hat trick. I know it's only Rochdale (probably their B team) but he's clearly not struggling adapting to his new environment, and scored more than our other youth team option for the first team, Leonard.

I was a bit disappointed that Ennis didn't feature though, clearly gonna be a bit longer for him than Siggy.

Great coverage from the club on last nights game....not seen a thing since the lineup. Appreciate we had a first team game but surely we had someone covering it FFS.

Looks like Sigurdsson played 75 minutes so hopefully not too far from 1st team involvement.

You would have thought that the U21s game could have kicked-off earlier, allowing any fans that wanted, could go to both games. Also both sets of players from the U21s game could have been taken to watch the first team .

Might have needed to be a later kickoff due to Hertha flying over? Could be something in the competition rules, dunno.

If not, it's just dumb.

The problem is that the Rovers did not communicate the reason for the kick-off time. If they had of done, people would have excepted it. Because no information has been given out, people make up their own reasons.

Having seen Rovers teams score five goals over the weekend and not getting anything is really disappointing. We were cruising and two up at half time but came out for the second half full of mistakes, poor decision making and lackadaisical. Villa scored early and then two in quick succession killed us. Our keeper, Michalski was our best player as he made several too drawer saves. In fairness we really pushed on in the last the minutes and the Villa keeper made a couple of really good saves. The only player likely to be considered for Wednesday, Gilsenan had a good first half but faded badly in the second half which typified the team performance.

good to hear. only 16 years old.

How did Finneran play? only 15 years old

He was neat and tidy in the first half but faded (as did most of the team) in the second half as he became tired. He looked confident and didn't seem to be overawed by playing against older players.

What has happened to Isaac Whitehall, is he injured again ? Him and Barnes appear good prospects but can’t get on the pitch.

injured I think

Whitehall hasn't played for the best part of two seasons now.  Doubt he'll come back to be honest.  The lad has been desperately unlucky - just like young Baker who missed most of last season and is now out for most of this one.

Thanks Parson, I thought that was the case but didn’t he sign another contract at before the beginning of the season, despite being out for a couple of years ? Good prospect, hope he can find a way back to fitness.
