Northern Premier League West? Come on now that's a joke. A league below the Northern Premier, where the lad was already sent recently. We're virtually talking pub level at this point, that can't be any better than he will get here. The lad is an England u-18 international who was on our bench at times last season.

It's already glitching, Stanley must still be ok 56k modems

How we are still in this game, never mind winning, is beyond me. Stream is now frozen so that may be a bonus.

3-1

Controlled the second half pretty well.  Leonard, Duru and Powell were excellent, Mafoumbi looked better cutting in from the left than when I have seen him up front in his previous games

Didn't go tonight but Powell looks like he's got something about him. Probably our best player against Lyon.

A  really enjoyable match at Accrington where a young Rovers team played some really good stuff and the goals were excellent. We rode our luck and were generally second best in the first half but went in one up. A smart substitution at half time have us a more solid look but we conceded early on to a great strike. Impressively the youngsters didn't let their heads drop and scored from two fast, flowing moves. By the final whistle we had three first year scholars playing, another testimony to the great work at the Academy.

See both young keepers Michalski and Honor gone on loan to NPL. Looking on twitter after rave reviews at Clitheroe see Honor got MOTM for Atherton last night. Good to see two young keepers getting experience in the mens game. Academy football is OK up to a point but looking at the careers of most top keepers getting out early is key.

Noticed Dunnys lad came on in the 2nd half, don't know how old he is but can't be more than 16.

Looks fairly slight but that didn't stop him putting himself about and seems to like a tackle. Left footed as well, with a lot more hair than his dad !

He is a first year scholar so 16 possibly 17. I think it was his debut at under 21 level and it took a few minutes to get used to the pace but once he settled he was good.

I’m going to go tomorrow watching the kids at leyland. Haven’t been for over a year. Does anyone know how much it is ? .

was also going to go to brockhall when we play Burnley on the Friday. Is this open to the public ?

It's free for season ticket holders but you will need it with you. Otherwise I think it's £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
