The manager has got a lot to sort out like players contracts, looking a potential signings, talking to potential targets agents, getting his backroom team together, sorting out pre season

Got to think how much money they will save not having anybody in place to do any of those things , well until August

Thats why we need a manager in this week.

Chaddy the club surely has scouts who can be sorting out possibilities, the pre season fixtures have been picked and players on holiday.

Cheston said they wanted to keep Irvine n Kelly! I think they want to hire someone who will keep them or just hire them because of the cost to replace.

Latest from the Rochdale site. Keith Hill is over in America visiting his dad who has been seriously ill. I can't see him being available for interview any time soon. Hope his dad gets better soon.

That should be exciting.

Not read the entire thread but if the new manager is indeed to be announced tomorrow it can surely only point to Irvine/Kelly confirming they're going nowhere and being given different job titles.

There is a view from some that Rovers will only exist if Venkys support it. It's been the source of most of the recent 'sparring'.
