Because I’m focusing on making it affordable for EVERYONE, not just cheap for kids.

Making cheap for under16 should be priority and Rovers did. They should stick with that price. Its was great when they did. Getting them into Rovers early age is exactly what we needed. They are the future of the club.

on your other prices, I would make it cheaper for the over 65's and 16-23 groups, whilst we broadly agree on other areas for adults.

In his wisdom Waggott thought that having £23 season tickets under 12's would naturally encourage more adults to buy them. The numbers prove his theory wrong (I know of a few adults who bought under 12 tickets for themselves though) so now he has to really focus on the adult price and pitch them reasonably otherwise the numbers will stay similar (unless we are promoted of course). Quoting an average price is a red herring.

Under 16 price reductions are almost immaterial compared to adult prices as an adult would naturally accompany an under 16.

I take it you aren't a parent or family member to has taken a child under 12 to Rovers this season.

I have seen my nephew come this season and throughly enjoyed himself and got involved in the chanting and shouting the team on this season

He won't do that because he's a thieving, lying, lazy piece of shit.

Isn’t that just like the adults who buy under 12 season tickets for themselves to use, the first two descriptors at least.

Again, you missed the point. Obviously its good to reduce those prices, but under 16s are naturally going to be brought by adults. Reducing the under 16 price in isolation will only do so much if that barrier of adult tickets that are too expensive remains. Because if the adult doesnt go then the kid doesnt go.

So I take it you didn't renew cos of the price being expensive?

Secondly I didnt missed the point but it's about getting that under 16 age group involved in Rovers from an early way, attending games, wearing a Rovers shirt, being proud to be Rovers fans, etc. That's our next generation of fans and we need to be bringing more in and with their parents or family members.

On Adult prices, we are roughly in the same figures around £249-299 mark for ST, but I would suggest Rovers need to get them on sale early around March/early April cos at the minute there is feel good factor around the club, the fans, the players and Eustace. Rovers need to capitalise on this and I would suggest put them on sale after Christmas or January.

Noticed that a lot of clubs auto renew STs on DD or full card payment etc.

Why not here? Surely that would help ‘the churn’ of non-renewers if you have to opt out instead of having to make a conscious decision every summer. I pay to watch BRFC why should it just run out? My other DDs or auto renewals don’t.

And if the adult cant afford their ticket or choose not to buy one, then the kid doesnt go, then the kid doesnt get hooked. Again, my point.

For me that would be people who do not buy tickets at a price they think is not worth it. The ones that bought U12 tickets are as much of a fraudster as Waggot.

Nah not even close, I applaud their efforts.

At the end of the day the club has brought this scenario upon itself by charging extortionate amounts for adult tickets.

Initial £350 to £450, but in the run up to KO it was £450 -£555 a ST, yet the club sees no issue with this and will be offering more of the same next summer, perhaps even more this time, ergo we’ll sell 9,000 (at best) again.

A lot of word salad, deflection and excuses, as always, by the club in those minutes, but fairly easy to realise that they will never offer enticing adult pricing, they don’t care about extra bums on seats, never have, it’s far too much effort and risk for their cushy numbers, they have their revenue targets and that’s that.

So we can all feel free to carry on with ‘well, if we price the Riverside at this, the JW at this’ - however the club is not interested.

So what affordable to everyone realistically and what can the club realistically afford to sell them at?

I still think get them on sale early is one of the key. Especially when there is good feel factor around the club, team doing well. League position good, etc.

Also Marketing the ST, I would willing to deliver leaflets for the club in local areas.

All them ideas are good, cheaper under 16s tickets are good, but one controllable thing will move the dial, and that is cheaper adult season tickets.

Not being taken for mugs.

And you had the nerve to accuse me of smoking something fairly strong yesterday!

You're miles off the mark on this one. I don't agree on the pricing per se either and if you think the prices are too expensive, that's absolutely fine and it's anyone's prerogative to choose to not buy a ticket on the grounds of cost. That's "not being taken for a mug".

If however you know the price and then deliberately misrepresent your age in order to get a cheaper ticket, that's fraud, plain and simple.

Nothing big or clever about it - quite the opposite.

Waggot points out that our adult season tickets are more expensive than other local club but our concessions are cheaper than others.

And that we now sell more concessions than adults.

It's almost as if the two points are linked !

A very good point, well made. If only Steve and Pasha weren’t deaf, dumb and blind to logic and evidence 🙈

A successful team on the pitch is the biggest factor and this season we seen this. Fans are enjoying the season, the football on show, the bond between Eustace, Players and the fans is great to see.

So can I asked 2 questions

1. Are you currently STH and where you happy with the price you paid?

2. What price would you charge for the Adult season ticket next season?
