Next season Dolan will take BBD’s place.

Its hard to work out What BBD's place is. He's not a central striker and he's not a winger.

If we continue to play Dolan on one wing, and I hope we do, and Thomas on the other, there's just no place for Brereton at present. And I think he'll be sub while Gally is fit to play

Gally is prospering playing where he should always have been.

I've lost emotional issue with Brereton going, I'm just angry he's going for nothing (again!).

How is it possible to have a striker who scores 28 league goals for us one season, yet we manage to finish 15th that very season? (No answer required)

Having said that, 64 goals in three and a half seasons is good going. Fair play to him.

Mowbray's experimental development football that's why just at a time it called for a cohesive well oiled unit to make the most of what we had.

Bowyer was nearly as bad. Gestede and Rhodes up front.  Carney In midfield.  His excuse was he was inexperienced.  Mowbray had been around for years. At least bowyer was doing his best to make us play off challengers.  Mowbray was filling his pension

He was so keen to retire, he left here and took another job….

Mowbray did his best for us but, in the end, it wasn't good enough. Glad we have GB and JDT now.

Armstrong looks great in that video but what happened to him at Southampton?

Ah yes, JDT received £15m to spaff on strikers last season. I forgot.

My point was that Mowbray wasn't doing anything but trying his best here. He did a decent job, if that was whilst barely trying then he must be an incredible manager when he does try, it was tongue in cheek.

People are so twisted against him that they come up with any way they can to try and have a go, no matter how illogical.

10m of that money "spaffed" on strikers was clawed back, and a profit would have been made on the 3 deals if our owners weren't idiots.

So now he wasn’t even ‘doing his best’, ‘didn’t care’, just daft stuff.

If you think he was a crap manager, fine, game of opinions. But the rest of it is just bizarre and feeds into this weird relationship this forum (only this forum by the way, seen as a decent manager everywhere else) has with him, MDS indeed…

If he was really intent on promotion he would have spent that January money he was offered when we were in a great position.  He knew promotion to the premiership would probably have spelt the end for him as with alot of sub par managers, owners usually go for a bigger name to keep us there.  He knew staying in the championship he would slowly motor along picking up his paycheck.  That's why at Sunderland he achieved in 6 months what he never achieved here. Plat offs. He knew that failure wasn't an option

He was a pretty shit manager and did a shit job.

He got us up out of league one but let's face it, a better manager wouldn't have taken us down in the first place.

Like his mate in the office upstairs he did just enough to avoid a complete disaster, once that was done then he could cruise out the rest of the season.

Just one of many dollopers to have a cushy number for an extended period under the venkys tenure.

Five years here. A complete waste of time.

Those January funds were never verified and almost certainly not true, but he left soon after anyway, so spending would have likely strengthed his position, not weakened it.

You must have a really high opinion of his managerial skills if you think that as soon as he starts trying, success follows.

If we had gone up under him, his wage would have gone up and likely his deal would have been extended.

Is 2nd in League 1, then 15th, 11th, 15th and 8th, never ever anywhere near the bottom, just avoiding a complete disaster?
