Stoke have spent roughly 65 million since coming down to the championship plus huge on wages aswell.

Can you tell me how much we've spent since 1990? Or does it not go back that far?

Many of those players signed were prior to O'Neill and rather than being of benefit to him, they are liabilities he is struggling to shift, Ince and Vokes amongst them.

And yet when O'Neill came in they were bottom of the league. The likes of Ince, Vokes, Afobe, Woods, Etebo, Lindsay who that money was spent have either been moved on rarely used as they weren't what O'Neill wanted. Yet by spending just £2 Million O'Neill has taken Stoke from bottom of the league to top 6 contenders.

If Mowbray has a problem with the pitch has he raised it with Suhail or the owners? Or is he just passing the buck again? Also regarding his comments about Stoke...

Is he saying we aren't? Am sure the owners would appreciate his quotes after allowing him to chuck £12m on Gallagher & Brereton down the drain.

I believe they relay the pitch at the end of every season. But the 28 years thing will be presumably referring to the whole system from under soil heating, to drainage, etc.

Lets call it what it is though just another excuse out of Mowbray’s big book of ridiculous excuses
