Thanks for this.

The posters on The Guardian website know nowt. Carlisle isn't the one.

The Lancashire derby vs Morecambe is the match Barrow fans are looking forward to.

With a good pair of lenses, from Eric's statue you can almost make out Holker Street across the bay.

Good luck, Dunny. A top man.

So if Rovers were to be receptive to a loan or two to help out Dunn, who would you send if you were TM?

Fisher, Lewis Thompson, maybe Brennan. Really, anybody we think is ready for that level but also risks not getting enough game time in League One (not necessarily through not being good enough). Jack Vale might be a good age for that step, but we could get a bit short on backup forwards if we sent him. Maybe Carter as I dunno if he would get enough games at League One either.

Good shouts. You’d suspect Dunn will hope to utilise his connection

I think it could be mutually beneficial and Barrow could become a nice little feeder club for us essentially. We have to start using the loan system better. Good loans from us could also help them stay up. Dunny will be pretty familiar with the lads too from his time with us.

They have drawn a couple of games which the footballing Gods conspired to give them a brilliant chance of winning.

They are fortunate clubs like Southend and Grimsby are disintegrating giving them a fighting chance of staying up.

Quite probably, remaining solvent will all they need to do to stay in the Football League..

Yeah, I'd have thought they'd have gone for someone with more experience at that level.

It does seem like a classic 'who you know' appointment based on being relatively well known name. He may have been an amazing coach at B/pool but his record at Oldham as a manager was dreadful. He may turn it around but it was a surprising appointment to say the least.
