Yer, i was wondering more if they offered him a new deal or just let him go.

All the noises suggest he's a decent player, so it would seem odd that Boro would let him go.

He is a out of contract player earning nothing currently. 2 months no wages.

Ayala would be a good addition. Still got years left in the tank and experienced at the top end of this league.

Would be very pleasantly surprised if there was potential for that one given his likely wages.

The amount of times in business you are told: "an agreement has to be reached by x date" only for the can to be kicked along the road and an agreement is finally made days or weeks later.
