Derby looked poor, it was a poor game and Rooney just came up with one moment of brilliance.

Would be a good moment for football if Norwich didnt come back up after their tactical relegation.

I guess Hughton has lowered his ambitions a little. Either that or Forest are chucking him a shedload of money.

Very good choice by Forest. Still, we should be looking to win at home to them. We are 6th, theyve lost every game, their squad is massively overloaded with defensive midfielders, lets get the win.

Forest have signed a lot of players this summer and allowed Lamouchi to sign the players he wanted according to what was reported on Sky Sports. Will be interested to how they do now. Their transfer policy seems all over the place this summer to be honest. Some good players there but can Hughton get them working well. We see.

They have some excellent players in that squad - I would imagine he believes he can get them up next season if not this one. Handy to have a tool whereby they can get around FFP so easily too.

You just knew he would be sacked so its no surprise just before the international break. Gives him time to get in and look at the players etc. 

Just typical timing for us. Lets hope the manager bounce is not immediate.

Forest have a good manager and along with a talented if underperforming squad become more of a threat. Barnsley without their manager look a lot weaker and more likely for relegation. Just goes to show how important the right manager is at this level.
