I know it gets quiet on transfer front here from time to time but we've never got to the point were we are reduced to discussing who wore what number of shirt 60 years ago.

Think it says a lot that Armstrong signed 2 years ago for the first team for 1.7 million rising to 3 million, has done great for us and has 14 goals since January, and he has 11 pages on his thread.

Dolan signed about 2 months ago for nowt, for the u23s and has 5 pages already.

The big test for Dolan will be how he copes as each match passes and he becomes a known threat. Hopefully his speed and range of tricks does not become readable; it was noticeable against Bournemouth how after his first five or so mins they handled him much better than Wycombe did at any point.

pne fans have an unhealthy hatred for us,for some reason,i don`t consider them a rival tbh,i don`t have the dislike for them that i have for bolton,burnley or oldham,they`ve suffered 50 years of misery so in a way i feel a bit sorry for them

The only youth players I can think of as having as good a start to their Rovers career are Phil Jones and Damien Duff. So he's in pretty good company.

Yes. Travis, Buckley, Dolan, Nyambe all look like they could one day play at the top level.

I'm interested to see more of Butterworth, Vale, Davenport and Wharton also. When they have played none of those 4 have looked out of place but they have very few minutes.
