I have given you my answer which was it is part and parcel of modern day football and given that we are in promotion hunt and playing well that was we get selected. I didn't understand the Cardiff and Wigan TV selection myself but I guess they will say they are covering Promotion and relegation teams then.

But this is my profile and account so I will talk about from my viewpoint overall

very true Matty and it was well made point from their viewpoint and I understand that.

Some people who work Saturday might be able to make that 7.45pm Saturday night kick off time from their viewpoint(depending on their circumstances but others people make not be able to. It is strange kick off time and one I don't think we ever played at in the past.

The point wasn't about the reasoning behind the moving of fixtures away from 15.00  on Saturdays. But the fact that the amount of these games that we have  had moved, for whatever reasons, will effect the amount of people willing to buy season tickets.

You keep repeating the "modern day football" line but it doesn't justify the quantity of matches moved. I have still attending the home games but I can show empathy, why can't you?

I don't need to justify anything. You cannot accept that TV games are part of modern day football and yes we have a number of games moved recently.

Why can't you just simply accept my opinion is based on my viewpoint and I will leave it others to post their opinion from their viewpoint.

I kind of accept games get moved for TV, but there is very rarely any games at 7.45 on a Saturday. That’s just bollocks. That will interfere with peoples plans far more than moving it to any other times at the weekend.

Everybody accepts Championship games being on Sky (a couple every weekend), everybody accepts you will be inconvenienced from time to time, everybody accepts that’s the modern game in the top two divisions.

So it’s therefore you that can’t accept that it’s the amount of games that have been moved that is unprecedented, that it’s all just totally normal.

However, it isn’t normal, and it is highly inconvenient for many fans and ergo it is a risk to future ST sales at a club with expensive prices to go *six months* with *one* 3pm Saturday game.

Lets trotted out the standard line that I am wind up cos I won't agreed with your and other people opinions on 3pm Saturday kick offs time. Its boring Matty now. You seems to struggled that people don't or won't agree with your opinions.

None of us know what the impact will be of any of this on future ST sales. Its just at best guesswork from you and others.

I don’t agree or disagree with you, because you aren’t grasping the actual debate everybody else is having, which isn’t surprising.

I said it’s a ‘risk’, so of course it’s a guess/only a possibility, or it wouldn’t be a ‘risk’, would it!

But one question, to see if we can get you up to speed - Is one 3pm Saturday game in six months normal, yes or no?

I do understand the actual debate but I posted my opinion from my viewpoint which you can't accept and understand my points. Anyway I will leave it there

that's not strictly true tho is it.

We played 5 home games out of 10 weekend games we were scheduled to be played at 3pm in the last 6 months.

Games against Millwall played on 1st October, Rotherham on 8th October, Birmingham on 22nd October, Huddersfield 5th November and Swansea 18th February plus a FA cup game against Birmingham 28th Janaury which replaced the Blackpool game which was set to be on Saturday 3pm kick off game

I literally have accepted your view that it’s ‘part and parcel’ about three posts ago, of course I accept and understand it, I’ve not lived in a Sky free cave for 30 years. But as you don’t seem to understand we are talking about *quantity* of moved games not that we are upset that this TV company called ‘Sky’ show football matches every week, you are making yourself look a bit silly.

So one more time. Between the 5th November and 29th April, which is 25 weeks/6 months (and of course Luton could well be moved, which would mean 9 months), one 3pm Saturday league game.

Is that normal?

Being selective to suit your own argument again Matty. There's a surprise 🤔

In the last 6 months we have had 6 Saturday 3pm games. Norwich is 3pm game but on Good Friday. Blackpool game wad Saturday 3pm kick off. Maybe we should have gone out in FA cup against Norwich then we would have had another 3pm home league game then

I will leave it there for the sake of messageboard

Are you being serious? Good god. Think I preferred it when you had me on ignore.

Yes I am selecting post 5th November as the last six months of the season is the whole point of my argument! 😁 (or is it 🤦‍♂️ )

Right let’s make it really simple. First three and a bit months of the season until early November we had a standard amount of Saturday 3pm’s, so far so perfectly normal.

However, post November 5th, we’ll  have had *one*  until the last home of the season.

Is that normal?

My advice is to take a deep breath, don't expect a direct answer from Chaddy to anything. And don't get frustrated.

I cannot believe that he is repeatedly ignoring the fact that it is not the fact that there are games moved for TV that people are not happy with, but the quantity. Unless he is doing so on purpose.

If I have worked it out right, since the world cup it is a run of 5 out of 6 moves for TV in a row if you exclude cup re-arrangements, bank holiday games and night games. Cardiff, Preston, Wigan, Sheffield United and Hull with Swansea remaining as a 3pm kick off.

That quantity cannot be justified as part and parcel of football. One or two could.

It would be much easier to say since the world cup break wouldn't it like I did in my post several times.

Given that we are promotion hunt we have a number of games moved. Like I said I could understand that Sheffield United and Preston games being moved but not sure why they picked Cardiff and Wigan games for TV coverage.

I have already said that I didn't understand why they picked the Wigan or Cardiff games for TV coverage yesterday. What more can I say?

I said yesterday that we have 4 games moved for tv coverage games since the world cup.

Games being moved for TV coverage is part and parcel of football for modern day football. Yes we have high games moved but its shows how interested Sky Sports and other media are in Rovers in JDT. I think its great that we are being cover so much by them and shows what can happen when we are playing very well and getting good results plus challenging for promotion
