Season tickets and the prices has to be top of the agenda.

It needs a couple on the FF to really tell Waggott how out of touch him and the whole club are.

What are we gaining by raising the prices again after next weekend?

I also presume that whatever the price is after next weekend will be the starting prices for next season too. Dressed up as a "price freeze".

I haven't seen any indication of a further price increase tbf. 'Phase 3' just looks like you can't guarantee the same seat as last season.

"We knocked 20 quid off the early bird expecting 10k to buy but only 6.5k did, cheap tickets don't work here, we've done all we can."

Maybe if you'd extended the early bird a few more would've bought ?

They wouldn't know, as they have never offered cheap season tickets.

They should be on the club website tomorrow. They have been agreed with the club and have been circulated to Forum members this morning. I always do this in case anyone has any issues with them. I have asked the club to release them tomorrow.

I’m seeing very little re ST discussion? Only a single sentence about the phase 2 price rise, not the whole *very large* issue.

As an existential issue for the very future of Blackburn Rovers, I presume the discussion was frank and lengthy and it has just not been captured verbatim on the minutes?

Season ticket prices would've been bumped up even further if we got promoted? With that windfall I would have expected them to be subsidised! Ass-backward strategy imo. We've got 20,000 seat to fill, a new generation of fans to engage. So short sighted that it almost seems cynical.

Also, how many female toilets actually are there? What kind of run rate would sanitary products experience? To imply that we can't offer that because it's potentially cost prohibitive is a bit dubious.

Like we’ve said, SBlue, he has zero interest in the long term health of the fanbase/getting bums on seats.

There’s a revenue target to hit and if selling *around* 8k (I say ‘around’ as I’m not sure we’ll even get to that pathetic figure) then that’s that as far as he’s concerned.

Lazy, cynical and totally without passion for this grand old club. So very sad.

They're just bonkers down there.

I'm glad to see that the £2 surcharge on season tickets was discussed. So the club appear to think it is justified on the grounds they are recovering their costs due to Ticketmaster. That's helpful. Presumably they'll also be attaching a surcharge to tickets and merchandise moving forward to recover their costs due to the gas and electricity providers?

Incredible that the CEO of Blackburn Rovers appears to take pride - at least that's the impression I get from the minutes - from selling a pitiful 7300 season tickets and although almost 1 in 5 from last season have failed to renew he doesn't seem too bothered.

£2 fee for your ST even in person at the ticket office - so why isn’t there a £2 ticketmaster fee every time you buy a match ticket at the TO then, it’s the same software and seat planner, no?

I renewed in person and wasn't charged the 'booking fee' but in the minutes BP states that he knows some people who weren't charged it also and has agreed to supply PF with their names so these could be checked. So is he going to get in touch with anybody who hasn't paid it?

The administration of our club is frankly embarrassing.

Quite frankly, I don't see the point in the meeting at all if the minutes do not record those present demanding Waggott do more to get fans in the ground with cheaper tickets and an improved experience. I'm just assuming this point was made. If it wasn't a major talking point of the meeting, thereby requiring minuting, why not?!

You've got yet another reduction in ST sales, players demanding more is done to improve atmosphere, major unrest in response to pathetic 'phases' etc. You would have thought this would result in a lot more minute-worthy discussion than just a quick summary of how happy they are with a small loss of ST holders. Target of 6.5k?! We are Blackburn Rovers.

Is there any way in which FF members can go straight to the owners above Waggott's head? It seems that there is no pressure on him whatsoever if he continues to lower targets year-on-year, then barely scrape even those. Whilst I am sure they don't really care beyond the financial aspect, Glen Mullan has referred several times to contact with them appearing to suggest they want advice from him (to no effect it must be admitted).

It truly is one of the most sobering times of the month when you open the FF minutes expecting the fans' voices to be heard and there is nothing there worth reading beyond platitudes with no push-back.

Largely agree, but I’ll wait for K-Hod and O2G’s account of the meeting.

But in reality I imagine they won’t have had a united front, as certain members of that forum won’t see these terrible sales as the fault of the club at all, but because we have ‘shit glory hunting fans who only want Prem’

Shouldn’t the minutes accurately reflect what was said in the meeting?

ie. if K-Hod ‘went off on one’ the minutes should record this.
