Spoke to my lad after that abject performance and he asked me if whilst watching the Rovers for nearly 60 years has there been a team during that time that have been so utterly clueless with throw ins, free kicks or corners?

It took me 0.10 secs to think about that and no prizes for what my answer was.

What on earth goes on down at the Village?

Tbf, any talk of L1 success is no longer valid when rating Mowbray anyway. All that matters is these last 32 games.

Forget Steve Waggott, why can't one of those chumps in Pune  just do the right thing by us for ONCE, pick up the phone tonight, sack him and seek to appoint a decent - hell, Half-decent - manager to try and take the club forward?

I mean in the name of God, why won't they just do what is patently necessary?? They might even enjoy seeing the team striving to win a few matches! 

Is this garbage never going to end from Venky's?

I can tell you 100% that they do not practice free kicks either offensive or defensive ..

This manager has killed my interest in football.

We've had bad managers before but never had to suffer them season after season after season.

I have no admiration for Tony Mowbray, I didn't want him in the first place.

I do however have plenty of admiration for Roverschimp, who has had a very productive afternoon.

He has managed to order a 2/slice toaster, (wide enough for barmcakes) and get this for attention

to detail, it matches his kettle, well done sir !

This is the nub of it all, despite everything I don't think we'll go down as the bottom three are still a long way behind.

I certainly wouldn't bet against us finishing 4th bottom though.

How embarrassing would it be if we only stayed up because of Wednesday's 6 point deduction?

Five a side tournament - i was captain and decided who played what position.

Coupled with actually buying both a kettle and a toaster that were upgrades on those i had and both things i needed - i wonder:

Am i over qualified?

Pathetic performance again, a set of massively overrated players built by a manager who further handicaps it by not having a plan or a clue what he is doing anymore. Total lack of urgency at the end summed it up.

Branthwaite is as far out of his depth as I can remember, dreadful signing. Kaminski seems suddenly indecisive, Lenihan a big upgrade on Harwood Bellis. Nyambe leaving will be a disaster, Douglas below par. Travis was ok, Evans steady, Rothwell mainly invisible as always, Elliott poor, Armstrong tidy with link up but no goal threat, Brereton scored a good goal in an average display.

Subs totally bizarre, Trybull made no sense and was shit, and seeing Dack where he was again was an example of the manager not putting the players on with any structure.

We wont go down, it will need maybe 2 more wins and a draw or 2, especially with Wednesday having points deducted, but its just desperately poor.
