Most goals happen in the middle. So obviously it makes sense to not have a striker at all and just play a 'false nine' so that area is rarely occupied.

Norwich haven't looked all that, but I make that about 5 times they were pretty close to scoring. Compared to our 1.

I'm old fashioned. Biased towards big guy, short guy up top.  Think Toshack/Keegan, Tore Andre Flo/Zola. We have an Armstrong, we have a Dolan. We have a Gallagher and we have a Brereton. Obviously not in the same quality league but surely TM should be trying out that formation. Am I missing something or is TM a moron?
