Loan out Magloire to loan in Branthwaite, setting the first one back in development. Stupid at the time and one would hope Mowbray would have learned from his mistakes but given how poor the long term squad building has been I have no faith in him to not loan in a bunch of other clubs prospects and make limited use of them and set the under 23's back again

I’ve heard some pretty awful rumours. My feeling is the best we can hope for right now is that we get to see a few cracking youngsters break through whilst JRC, Bucko, Dolan, Davenport and Carter cement regular spots.

Things can always change with Venkys of course but if they don’t trust the young lads then I can see another ‘Hope Akpan’ type year coming up 🙈

An Owen Coyle type summer has been predicted for a while but it'll probably turn out more like Bowyers last stint.

Signed a load of cheap crap for bodies sake whilst the good players began to depart one by one.

If history repeats itself that'll be another few thousand fans lost. The Bolton scenario that some like to chuck about in defense of the owners pockets will be staring us right in the face anyway.

Blame the fans though, they make all the decisions after all 🙄

Something i thought might happen after the breaking it up and selling off half fell through.

A sell the lot and rent a bit back scenario probably.

It’s looking ominous.

The fact when it was brought up in the Fans Forum, the response was just ‘no update’. No commitment to the site as it stands or a mea culpa of any sort.

Christ, here we go again, I didn't think they would have the brass neck to try again quite so soon.

This is the one thing they shouldn't be allowed to get away with, players come and go and can be replaced. Once infrastructure is gone it's gone and the current incumbents at Ewood won't be here much longer anyhow due to their age if nothing else.

If a progressive manager who was taking us places and a forward thinking CEO had a different vision for the Training facilities that might be a bit different. But this lot will just bugger off into the sunset leaving us with nothing.

For me this was why it was so imperative they were all replaced at the end of last season before they had chance to revisit this scheme.

What annoys me about that is that I can't figure out whether or not the Fans Forum views a sale as a positive thing.

Constantly asking if there's any "updates" sort of implies they're hoping a sale will go ahead.

people with a lot of money and a lot of influence on the planning dept hopefully up at brockhall village,they`ll not want their property value  and exclusiveness damaged by extra housing, the applications going to get thrown  out again imo

 When the owners continue to 10/20 million in at the top end and allow contracts for the likes of Ayala why is the club so desperate for a couple of million quid from a land sale ?

This really really stinks and could well be the worst move these lot have inflicted on this club. And that takes some doing yet the first mention of it and berks will come out of the woodwork saying it's a good idea.

There is something at the heart of it very wrong and that will be some eyeing a quick few quid for their own pockets.

This. There's minimal benefit to the owners of this. Running cost wise the savings would be insignificant out of £20 million a year. This is also something that they could have explored and progressed many year ago if they were interested in such 'projects' yet nothing has happened.

No the drivers of this are the middle men between Ewood Park and India. As you say why so desperate to get this done? Is this for the owners benefit, the club's benefit or others benefit? This is the key question that needs investigating. Much can happen in the chasm between here and Pune.

Personally I wouldn't trust any of them as far as I could throw them.
