Waggott's wet dream probably, as well as becoming a bit of a yo yo team between the Championship and League 1 where the Coventrio are obviously far more comfortable and at their natural level.

Up to us as fans to preserve Jack's infrastructure until we can see these charlatans off and get someone decent in.

Would the sale of some land in Brockhall cover it?

Would only 3/4000 season ticket sales and home support of 6/7000 at matches be used to justify such a drastic move?

 

i would`nt put anything past swaggot,the first step would be to inform the press that ewood park is to costly to maintain and is not fit for purpose,no doubt he`d blame the fans citing "the lack of attendence is one of our major concerns and it`s clearly because the ground is dilapidated"(it`s not of course),shuffling us into an idendakit legoland stadium is his favoured plan,especially as the brockhall sale p*****d on his chips,i honestly don`t think pasha or venkys know what is going on,they might not care but swag is running the show for his own self interest

Plus one of the four higher, Preston, are offering cash back to anyone who had a ST in 2019/20 or 2020/21. This ranges from £30 to £70 so anyone renewing from pre Covid will have the opportunity of a cheaper ticket than at Ewood.

I have to say that I think Rovers have made a massive mistake in not making season tickets cheaper for Adults plus for under 16's. Rovers should be trying to entice fans back now after 16 months of lockdowns and not being able to their team live inside a stadium for that period of time. 

Adult ST prices for the Blackburn end and the Riverside stands should have been between £230-280 per ticket holder with the Jack Walker price around £350 to 399 for example. Kids under 16 years make it pound a game. You would make that back with supporters using their spare money in the concourse food stalls or in the club shop.

’vastly discounted rate’, so it fucking should be, young adults are more often than not the ones in the worst financial position. Young families, poorer wages, high outgoings etc.

Think this says a lot about you that you seem to have a grievance for this age category getting a discounted ticket price.

They would get the same % discount as everyone else (if they had a ST last year), so they wouldn’t be getting it at a cheaper rate.

Anyone aged 23 the day of the Derby game back in 2020, is looking at a £220 price increase, straight off the back of a worldwide pandemic that has disproportionately effected their age group, now that Waggott has reduced the YA age category by 2 years.

Have some fucking perspective.

If you want to get your point across then pay £599 for a padded seat, half time in the directors lounge and attendance at the post match press conference!! You’ll be heard (or escorted out) from there!!

Embarrassing but not surprising at all, this club is beyond desperate for a new direction. Although in the minds of those running it and some fans we are already on one.

The journey from long being Lancashire's biggest club to now one of its smallest is well over halfway complete.

Bravo Venkys, Coventrio and associated self serving acts you must be so proud. But hey you're doing all you can so all is fine.

With all due respect the prospect of the likes of Blackpool selling more ST than us was once unthinkable not too long ago.

In fact we are very probably on course to sell less ST's than Burnley,Preston,Bolton and Blackpool...when was the last time that occured?🤢

True. But I do think it’s a noteworthy comparison that a smaller club which is very comparable in terms of owner issues, lancashire based, similarly economically depressed area is outperforming rovers. I’d find it totally irrelevant to say Man Utd have sold 50,000 season tickets for example but a club like Blackpool already doubling what we’re likely to sell highlights our seemingly terminal decline.

The opportunity to draw a line under the various issues and disappointments that appear to have fragmented the customer base recently has been lost. 

"Back to Live" should have given the Club executive the chance to initiate and stimulate interest and support from the new generation of young supporter that is essential to growth and ultimate survival.  I don't have marketing experience but the basis of renewal price and "incentive" structure is to me unexciting unimaginative and fails to create a new attractively affordable reason for "the new kids to arrive on our block" and stay.

The credits allowed against last season's ST costs  may well ensure most ST holders renew this season (I will be renewing) but the Club needed to go flat out to get the next generation involved and hooked.
