On Monday evening Birmingham had sold more tickets for this game than Rovers. There will obviously be a late rush at the reduced price and it will end up a decent crowd but there's no way there is going to be chaos.

Sad remembering how excited we used to get about the FA Cup as kids.

An article from yesterday on their official site states "Up to 3,000 Bluenoses will enter the ground at the Darwen End". I assume a Bluenose is Big Club supporter. 😆

Some have suggested they've sold their allocation in the Darwen End lower, but it sounds like it's half the tier as opposed to the full tier.

You got it slightly wrong, Bluenose is the name given to them by their rivals Aston Villa. Would it insult Burnley supporters if we named them Claret noses.

That’s literally an article from their own website, so they obviously do call themselves Bluenoses.

Just ask Jude…

“To be a Bluenose is to be a Birmingham City fan really.

“I’m a Bluenose, you’re a Bluenose, and if you’re from the right side of Birmingham you’re a Bluenose,” Bellingham explained. “I never forget when we went to [Birmingham City] games, I always loved going past the bit with the rock - there’s a rock on the way to the stadium and someone’s painted the nose blue.

“Before games, I’d always go to my mum or my dad, ‘you’ve got to go past the Bluenose’. Before the game against Stoke when I scored on my home debut, we drove past it. I would’ve driven past it a million times going to a game as a fan, but, and I don’t know why, before the Stoke game it was special. From that point I said we always have to go that way to go past the Bluenose,” Bellingham said.

Nah they’re blue noses and proud of it

Might have started as ribbing but they’ve took it on board and ran with it

Bluenose and proud is a common phrase you hear around Brum

Good to see there is a match thread now.

Loasda tickets left, but like the Forest game, we will sell a couple of thousand last night and today.

Will be a decent crowd, and initially a bizarre atmosphere because of the bizarre decision to close the Riverside for a 13,000+ attendance.

Anyway, onto the match thread......

Does Sunack and Johnson support them another couple of blue noses.

I was there today, the riverside was closed nobody in it.

With the exception of that random pitch invader near the end - making his escape (seemingly) via the Walkersteel / Riverside.
