didn’t say it would be easy. Just in response to a comment that they gave us the maximum they could - it’s just not true.

You literally did say they could do it ‘quite easily’.

As I say, it’s harsh but funny.

An eye for an eye - they give us a small allocation they get the same in return. We would have sold the entire Cricket Field stand had they provided it as they have in the past, instead they refused and provided a small allocation. One set of toilets open for the entire away following too which was a disgrace.

For once I fully support this decision, my only 'grievances' are not putting them upstairs and giving them 250 hospitality tickets - I sincerely hope those people won't be behind me in the JW stand jumping up and down or banging on the glass like they have in the past. I am pleased however that those hospitality tickets have effectively come out of their overall allocation, reducing standard tickets to just 2000.

There's too much history with this fixture, too much riding on it from Rovers' point of view with our league position, to hand over a huge allocation to them. Nobody else provides 6,7,8000 tickets to away teams, let alone their biggest enemies, so not sure on what basis we should be expected to do so.

Next stop is to make the day as unpleasant as possible for them as they did to us - no beer sales, one set of toilets open for the whole lot of them, and a zero tolerance approach to any flags being brought into the ground.

And if they don't like it they can start by asking questions of their own Club who were the first to do all those things.

As for dingles 'turning up' in Blackburn or at Ewood - really? You'd have to be real weirdo to not have a ticket, yet spend your day travelling to Blackburn for no reason other than to hang around causing bother, especially when your team is on tv and you can safely watch it from home/a pub in dingleland, yet you'd rather miss watching your team play to hang around like a spare part in Blackburn? Sounds like a real fun day out. Almost as though they aren't actually interested in watching the match....

It's well known going right back to the 80's these clowns have loads who sometimes travel but don't actually attend games. Preferring to hang around in groups in pubs looking for bother.

Sums that element of their support up, pure scum.

End of the 2010-11 season, at the old Upton Park, we were in danger of going down for a while but ended about 15th IIRC after winning a 3-2 thriller at Wolves on the last day Robbie Keane missed a sitter for West Ham near the end so we escaped with a 1-1 draw. Their fans are 'orrible, Cockney geezers. Decent Rovers team - N'Zonzi, Samba, Emerton, Nelsen, Olsson etc

Obviously repeat offenders then…

If anyone is wondering why there are a few posts missing, I’m afraid it’s collateral damage for quoting a poster that we won’t be hearing from again on here.

As one of the overlords here, I know that we are happy with fans of other clubs posting here, even your lot.

That’s all on the proviso of basically not being a dick. Unfortunately, he violated that in a very big way.

Surely if we are to make the as unpleasant as possible - you sell as much beer as possible with only one toilet 🤣

Let’s be real about it folks it’s the most sensible of decisions to allow only 2k into the ground and it damn well serves Burnley fC right for not giving us a better away allocation in the shithole of a stand when it would have made policing the game much more simpler ! If 20000 want to travel to Ewood good for them same for those who think they can drink all day and then cause trouble 😅 I have no sympathy other than for the loyal supporters who now have to go to a ballot for a chance of a ticket

Well done Rovers.

For years we've opened the floodgates for away fans to cash in whilst sacrificing home advantage.

Many clubs offer just the standard 2,000 minimum and still have empty seats elsewhere. Hope they do boycott & it will mean we have even more advantage. The corporate tickets have already sold out at £200 each so we already have their money.

The only thing I can't understand is why they haven't shoved them away in the upper. Perhaps they are thinking of doing what PNE do against Blackpool... giving them the minimum 2k and opening half the stand up to home fans?

The fake David Brent?

No. A nobody. Only had a handful of posts.

Just come on to troll.

Tbh I wasn't that fussed either way with the allocation decision.

But now I've seen how angry it's made them, it's really grown on me.

My favourite part so far is them thinking a couple hundred grand tickets sales will somehow have a massive impact on the 200+ million hole we live in.

Like the bloke that's just lost 10's of thousands at the casino gives a shit whether you buy him a Stella Artois or not.

The millions we've lost on Rothwell, Lenihan, and Diaz and their sofa change is gonna be the difference like they're handing out magic beans or something.

All the threats of violence, mayhem, carnage etc - given their promises of trouble, maybe Rovers were right to limit their allocation....

Also finding funny 'easier to control 7,000 of us in the ground than in town' - as if they wouldn't go to town for a drink beforehand anyway.

Ultimately, if they're willing to travel to Blackburn for a game they don't have tickets for, then more fool them. There's barely a pub to drink in, the police will no doubt be all over them and they'll miss out on watching it at home with like minded folk. And all the talk about fans in the home end is nonsense - you'll get a few, but definitely none of the rent-a-gobs online.

Trains, planes and automobiles...... a new updated version of how to get to Blackburn and smash ''bstads' by A. Porter

The author apologies beforehand that he might not make it as he's helping the local taskforce with their enquiries that day.

Just been on their site for 20 minutes. It’s cheered me up no end. It’s comedy gold !

They're really getting their knickers in a twist about it aren't they?

I know we gave them some stick in the 90s and beyond, and for some to be fair they're finally getting their own back, but they're showing real delusions of grandeur. You have to laugh. One season under Kompany, with a few tasty loans and a load of cash in the bank, and they're talking like an elite club, versed in a new brand of cultured football. Do they really think we're going to let them have a promotion party at our place? They're like angry toddlers wanting everything on a plate: "I want the Darwen End, I want a guard of honour". Fuck 'em

I've read some rumours that JDT and the footballing side requested the smaller allocation? Is there any truth in this? If so, good on him. If it backfires and we lose we look stupid, but better that than a repeat of City in 2000.

Back in the day, on a Summer's evening, we'd occasionally start at the " Alex " on Dukes Brow, and then make our way to the " Clog and Billycock " and have a stop in the " Quarrymans " further up Dukes Brow, then the " Dog Inn " on Revidge Road and then the " West View " further down Revidge  ... all 3 of those pit-stops are now closed !! 🙄
