I said before the draw the two worst teams to get are Wigan or Preston away. Uninspiring semi regular local game which means far more to them/their fans and a shithouse style of play to boot. Fears coming true so far and we’re getting dragged into it.

Happens every week. The Wigan player taking out Rothwell was the most blatant yellow of the game but he didn't even get a talking to.

Cup matches seems to always result in injuries. Get to 2nd on the table, lose key players in a cup match

Bet Butterworth looked even less happy about not being the man to replace him. If he is basically fourth choice to play in the 3rd round of the FA Cup against lower league opponents he must be questioning when he is going to play.

We are really poor so far. Too many touches & not much idea going forward.

Best chance when Buckley only needed to pull it back to Ben for a tap in. He tried to shoot through the keeper instead.
