Exactly and it's becoming a weekly occurrence.  He's now scared to cross the halfway line in an attacking sense, as he knows he can't recover.

Also means we are relying on our top goal threat to get back and help him out defensively.  Needs sorting.  Even if it means giving Edun a game there, he really can't be any worse and at least he has a little pace.

Edun isn't the answer, he can't play FB in a back 4. He can sort of play WB in a back 3 if you're desperate.

I think now's the time to give him a chance instead of Harry Pickering, can't be worse.

If one thing life experience has taught me its - things can always be worse.

I've also been wondering what the definition of "healthy budget" is. Some would say not having to sell anyone to pay wages is "healthy"

Running around alot for no purpose doesn't make him a footballer. He's poor on the ball. He doesn't seem to be improving or learning. As he is at the moment I think he'll struggle to stay in the professional game

You're welcome, of course, to your utterly blind view of his standing in the game. But any team in League One would take him with open arms, calling him non-league is preposterous. Talking about whether he is good enough for us in the Championship would be a lot less ridiculous. I don't get why people have to jump to extremes when they talk about players.

He’s my take on the need for transfers.

If anyone thinks that GB is sat on his hands doing absolutely nothing, you are wrong.

We are fishing in a very small pond of players that we could potentially recruit.

We need to stay within our wage structure which more or less rules out premiership players who are not in current squads. That leaves us with league one and below or potentially players from abroad (with the brexit rules it makes it extremely hard to sign these players.)

Say we have 6 million to sign 4-5 players. We need to try and stretch this to accommodate the need for quality rather than just get bodies through the door. Championship teams will want a premium for their players.

There isn’t just a plethora of quality players that teams are willing to let leave their squad that we can afford.

Now Is the business end of the transfer window so I suspect we will see things moving in the next 2 weeks. Teams will sell players cheaper now to accommodate new players or to raise funds. This is just the way it works.

Do we need new players now? Absolutely.

Would I prefer to wait and get the quality than just bodies through the door because are squad is thin. Yes.

I am confident within the next 2 weeks we will have good quality players incoming that will make the squad better.

Patience is required.

Yes - it's difficult to believe Dolan was playing for England Under 20s earlier this year because good judges felt he didn't have a future in the professional game.

His game at the moment involves extreme energy and the ability to run round at high speed putting defenders under pressure. At 20 he is able to do that but by the time he's 25 he won't and he will have to change his game. His quality on the ball is poor. Ultimately I don't think he'll make it. Hope I'm wrong

Are people really trying to blame Brereton for Pickering’s shortcomings?!? Even before he became Diaz he always put a shift in defensively. Elliott in front of Nyambe is the recent example of a fullback being given no support, Pickering gets plenty.

Really struggling to think of any domestic based forwards that we could target.

I think looking at the 3 promoted teams, Fulham, Bournemouth and Forest might be our best option.

Muniz

Surridge

Anthony

J Clarke Harris

Ryan Hardie

Adam Armstrong loan

That's not necessarily true at all. Plenty of players haven't lost pace at 25. It may or may not happen. He will have learnt more about the game in general by then too. His game also involves exceptional footwork and a hefty dose of flair, and if he learns how to use those more effectively then even if he does lose pace at 25 it may not matter.

He already has made it. He has 75 Championship appearances, 7 goals and 7 assists at age 20. Even just carrying on like that for 5 years before he supposedly loses his pace is making it. Certainly compared to your non-league claims.

Over to Waggott and Broughton now - the manager needs help - and lots of it.

And to Venkys. Hopefully they will provide the money.

Harry Pickering is the worst Left Back I've seen in Rovers colours

Amarii Bell and Tayo Edun must have been erased from your memory.

I am guessing that you didn't see Sunday's game? Or when Edun played last season.

Pickering has started the season well bar yesterday where Brittain was just as bad.

Tayo Edun is not the answer.

That doesn't sound like they're too keen, if they're still deciding. Ash needs to remember the grass isn't always greener.

"Grass isnt always greener" should be emblazoned above the door of the locker room with pictures of previous departures.

If 8 million isnt spent without BBD being sold then I feel it will be a bumpy road for the season.

I didn't say he would lose pace, only that he won't be able to tear around like a blue-arsed fly like he does at the moment. Let's see how he goes. I hope he does make it.  In my opinion he won't because I don't see other attributes in his game
