Thinking philosophically about this last minute sale Charade that clubs go through. Why?

If you need a player, budget for him and go in early. Job done. We are  not buying bomber jackets at H&M when it does not  matter if you miss out.

I appreciate that some  squad players availability depends on injuries further up the food chain.

I think For some clubs, saying they went for a player gives them bragging rights with fans. Except fans are not stupid.

We've just seen our 18 year old and Liverpool's 19 year old play with slippers on in a dominant - and technically the 2 starters (although I wonder how long that will last for!) were on the bench or playing RB... yep people are still pining after some midfield .

Beggars , really.

Trav will get suspended. I'd like to give Garrett a go but someone more physical for back up would be welcomed.

Looks like this Mola can cover there and CB/LB

I wouldn't say pining, but it's nice to have options. We've just beaten an average B/pool side, we didn't do very well at Reading or Sheff Utd. Lets not get carried away.

We were missing 4 first team players - and we've won 4 games already. I'm very pleased with the start JDT has made.

I'm not getting carried away, but I just don't see the need to spend limited resources on central midfield when we have Travis, Buckley, Morton, Wharton, Edun (at a pinch) and Garrett to play there. We play a midfield 2 and, as you saw against Blackpool, they're meant to be comfortable on the ball and act as pivots rather than just break play up.

Let’s not get carried away. They won’t be playing against Blackpool every week. They have the big advantage of being unknowns in the league. The coaching staffs at our up coming opponents will be poring over last nights game trying to figure out how they can be got at.

So we need to spend £10k a week on another Bradley Johnson journeyman?

No, ta. Blackpool scored 6 in their last 2 games (against Bristol City and Burnley no less) and barely had a sniff against us. They're a decent side at this level.
