Which utterly brilliant manager will we be delighted to welcome next?

USA U19's, New England first team management, involvement with Spurs. Would certainly fit the youth development remit. Would certainly fit the fan service remit.

Just came on hear to suggest that maybe Stuart Pearce could be a contender for manager as he's just left his coaching job at west ham stating he's looking at other opportunities and challenges.... Then come on hear to see talk linking him to the dof role 🤔🤔

The dof role is still abit of a mystery to me until somebody from the club states what precisely that role is going to entail!!

As for Pearce 🤷‍♂️ defintely not management material but since retiring as a player he has aquired a lot of experience that could make him a big asset behind the scenes, plus having a passionate no nonsense character like pearce at the club would instantly be an improvement!

P. S. It would also be great to have Brad Friedel back at the club, but the role would have to be right!

Friiedel as DOF, fine, but it would be a classic, populist appoint an ex-player scenario, (is Shebby pulling a few strings from beyond the grave? )

Has zero previous experience in that role.

Friedel as manager / head coach = no ta. Has demonstrably not cut it in that role.

Absolutely loved him as a player, but that means nothing.

You mean you read it here:

Another name I heard mentioned to me yesterday was Michael Beale, Ex Chelsea Liverpool Youth Coach, Now at Villa as First team coach but was also at Rangers as a coach with Gerrard.

Well if you had read that site properly. there is a number of different claims made that I have never posted on here.

I have mentioned Michael Beale name cos I've seen an article linking him to managing in Championship. Here the link to it https://www-footballinsider247-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.footballinsider247.com/aston-villa-may-already-have-michael-beale-replacement-lined-up-after-worrying-news-hutton/?amp=&amp_gsa=1&amp_js_v=a9&usqp=mq331AQKKAFQArABIIACAw%3D%3D#amp_tf=From %1%24s&aoh=16533445441619&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.footballinsider247.com%2Faston-villa-may-already-have-michael-beale-replacement-lined-up-after-worrying-news-hutton%2F

Then you look a number of different articles/videos about his coaching style, record, etc out there in public domain is another reason why I suggest him for the head coach here.

my mate was convinced he saw kevin keegan on the darwen end car park this morning, getting out of his 7 series bmw, looked very serious and was hurried towards the jack walker stand reception by a very big minder,he obviously did`nt want to be noticed by the covert way he was escorted from his vehicle, could be big news on the way

Anyone under 40 saying, "Kevin who?" of course!

Where is Tony's tombola drum gone? I would wager it is being prepped as we speak, with candidate names being loaded frantically on old tizer corks, ready to spin round in anticipation of the random selection of the next incumbent. Only problem is, all of the writing is in invisible ink, and only Waggot has the infra-red glasses to read the contents.

Oh yes, It is going to be a wild old lottery ride this summer.

A drawback of Burnley getting relegated, is that they'll now be fishing in the same pool as us for a new manager.

Let's hope that the club are nearer to a conclusion than we think is the case.

The Lancashire Times says interviews from the shortlist will be held this week. Lets hope so then we can move onwards and upwards.
