Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub.....

Far to many in that management team SG, our billionaire owners can’t stretch to that.

Carvalhal was never going to come here when Al Wahda can pay three or four times as much. We were used.

Farke's preference was always the Premier League or Bundesliga according to longstanding reports. At best, we would have been a contingency job for him.

I prepped my mindset for this. Information on the inside gets passed on, and 100% VAT is added to it. To say Farke was "keen to get it over the line"... I'm sorry, but that's utter rubbish that he was ever keen to get it over the line. We were obviously well down the pecking order. Why do people say these things and then get a special protection that "oh then it must be the club that fucked it up"? Clearly the "keen to get it over the line" was absolute 100% bullshit.

Right. Enough. Let's just appoint Ainsworth and be done with it!

My preference is Taylor swift but doesn't mean it will happen

Facebook brigade all over ferguson coming in, I think he’d be the final straw for me. He’s a thug I can’t get behind that in anyway shape or form

I've seen the same comments and its a done deal. A couple of days ago the same person was saying he was Waggott's first choice.

Someone has backed Ferguson in the past day of so for his odds to go odds on. Some people know something or think they do

i probably worded it wrong tbh, step up meaning he`s fresh to the managerial job, will bring new ideas and hopefully,as a top class player will inspire the players more than moggadon did, thats if he does`nt assault them first that is!!!,some of the other candidates frankly make me want to get mowbray back

But, that would be a surprise appointment. Not been mentioned in the press I believe, and not good enough for this club at all. Although I suppose that last part wouldn't be surprising. But why do you expect him rather than any of the other dross that has already been mentioned?

We have missed out 3 people I thought could have took us to that next level in Daniel Farke, Carlos Carvalhal and Neil Critchley. Plus Michael Beale aswell.

So where we do now? how many candidates have we actually interview and we is Pasha and Waggott struggling to pick a first choice or someone to recommend to the owners to appoint.

I don't see clear and obvious choice out there to appoint.

Woodgate is a guess from me and nothing more. I'm hopeful an appointment will be made before the weekend(11/12th of June) since the players return on the 13th June with no fitness coaches at the club and no head of medicine services. So we can appoint people to these roles.

To tell the truth we haven't had decent personnel in those positions for years. The first bit of pre-season training is mainly about stamina and fitness. Any coach should be able to do that.

No not any coach can do, That why you employed specialise coaches to do it or proper trained and qualified physios.

We haven't had personal in those positions for years so why have each of the 3 people got to PL clubs or one of the top clubs in Germany.

Head of Medicine services Andy Mitchell left us for Red Bull Leipzig.

Our  Lead Athletic Performance Coach Liam Mason left for the role on Newcastle fitness staff

Our number 2 athletic performance coach Jack Dowling left for a similar at Everton

Random guess. But out of interest, how would feel if thay happened? Pissed off/angry?

And one word answer, Woodgate or Mowbray?

No I wouldn't think mad or angry or anything like that about it. What good would it do anyway?

Whoever we appoint I want to the reason why we appoint this candidate and what make him the right choice.

Steve Walsh is a name mentioned for Sporting Director.

That would join a lot of dots.

where has his name came from?

He is the director of football who was at Leicester and Everton.

Wouldn't have been my first choice, but I've seen worse names mentioned. Ferguson is definitely a character I could get behind after the morbidness of TM.

benson and lowe will be the first casualties if big duncan brings his own team in,thank **** for that, the last remnants of the era of mowbray

The entire debacle is looking ready made for Honeyman, Sheron or Horner to swoop in and drop a massive shit on our doorstep last minute. Either that or Judan Ali finally taking the job he has long been primed for.

My info on farke was sadly correct and he was always holding out for a German gig

In the interests of fairness the info on Carvahal was pretty incorrect

David Unsworth is from Euxton/Chorley, same as me, few years older though.

Lots of people I know knew him when he was younger, nobody really had a decent word to say about him, mainly due to his arrogance when he was playing Premier League football for Everton, didn’t stay friends with those he was close to.

A friend played with Ferguson at Rangers and said whilst he was an absolute nut case when he had a drink, he was super professional and generally good at everything. Said his public persona very different to the real him, quite an intellectual.

There’s a chance Big Dunc could be a very good manager, but I don’t want Unsworth anywhere near our club.

He will only bring who he’s allowed, that’s the whole point, and why anyone half decent will walk away.

Ferguson will agree to constraints as he will be desperate for the opportunity.

Won: 3-1 Vs Chelsea

Draws: 1-1 v Utd, 0-0 Vs Arsenal, vs Leicester (KO Penalties).

Lost: 1-0 v Norwich

Honestly, that's actually pretty good imo.

How smart would you have to be to spot that Mahrez and Kante could play a bit ? It took me ten minutes of watching Mahrez.

Took the words right out of my mouth. It’s made out that spotting talent is some kind of secret society.

The only reason I don’t think it will be him at this stage is because he’d ruffle too many feathers. The management team are on easy street and he would be like a bull in a kitchen.
