Don’t forget we’re just a bunch of volunteers, so As always, it’s a case of biggest bang for the smallest buck, what’s the thing we can do for the least “effort” that will please the most people. something like the the 92 club is very niche and there’s other places already doing it, we need a BRFCS slant on it or something that makes it better than the other offerings so that the number of people using it makes the effort worthwhile. I hope you understand.

No signings hardly at knobdale or notĺob but they have nearly 13k sold.  Something seems to have been lost between the appointment of JDT and the present....a bit of a feel good.factor.   A couple of top notch signings and reduce tickets to 299 and away we go.

Anyone hoping that their £399 (if lucky) or £429 for your season ticket has earned you priority on away tickets this season think again, as at the 11th hour (why leave it until mid July?) the Club has decided to complicate matters. You now have to pay an extra £10-15 on top of top end ticket prices to ensure you can have first dibs on away tickets.

Just as I think it can't get any more ludicrous we now have a premium to pay on top of premium prices just to get priority on tickets.

I see the Rovers have rehashed the 1875 club. One of their main selling points is that you get a fiver off the price of a Cat A game. Why would season ticket holders subscribe, they have already paid for those Cat A games. Another selling point is that you are bumped up the pecking order for away tickets. There are few away games that tickets will not be freely available, so why would non season ticket holders need to join. Another point is, why is it more expensive for non season ticket holders to join. Another example of how to alienate the market you should be targeting.

Tapping into panic about potentially missing out on a Dingle ticket, as there’s not exactly much fear of missing out on other games. 

Membership schemes make no sense for a club that has a vast number of unfilled seats and rarely sells out away. A cynical cash grab for a club in which supply pretty much always outstrips demand (with a rare exception.)

Though I suppose it is worth £15 if you are a fairly regular match day buyer and can save a £5 each time (but reading the article I can’t work out if the 1875 discount is only in place four the Cat A fixtures or all), but then many non ST holders don’t know if they will be a regular or not… that’s why many don’t have a ST to start with!

You can't make it up can you, Swag seems clueless at times and the loyal fans have been shafted again.

The only plus side is for non season ticket holders, max price would be £25 .

On the matchday prices, why charge £7 for 0-7 year olds?

These youngsters would be coming with parents/familys etc should be free, future fans.

Sounds to me it is £5 off the four Category A games, you still have to pay £25 for B fixtures. And you wouldn't get a category C ticket for £15. Still match day tickets are lower over all even if we did have some strange prices last year. was it £18.62 for one match and £10 against Bournemouth

Think you’re right, so presuming you can make all four, if you don’t spend the £15, they’ll cost you £120 in the BBEnd, spend £15, it’ll cost you £115 overall… roll up, roll up!

By my quick calculation, averaging the match day cost in the Blackburn End as £25.43 across the full season, you have to attend 18 out of the 23 home games to make getting a season ticket worthwhile.

If you can only attend 16 out of the 23 games you are better off buying match day tickets.

Yeah, but there will no doubt be a couple of offers as the season progresses.

I'm sure the 1875 membership got you a few quid off all home games last time it was introduced despite what category they were.

Say as a non ST holder you only wanted to go to the 4 home derby matches next season, it will cost you £115 with the membership (£25 each and £15 to join) or £120 if you just buy them normally. Hardly seems worth it for a fiver saving especially as one or two might be on TV anyway.

Now if they offered say £5, £3 & £2 off each ticket depending on category then it probably would be worth getting.

And of course it’s a big assumption that a non ST holder can/will want to make all four games, they don’t have a ST for a reason!

So why bother paying £15 at all if you are only certain to go the Burnley game  or you probably won’t bother if on TV? You’d end up out of pocket!

Last years match by match pricing structure was plain stupid how people get paid good money to come up with that i'll never know.

This time looks far more sensible and about right for this league in 2022 so credit to Rovers for that they've looked and learnt.

They got rid of that ridiculous Cat A+ bracket sharpish early on last season. With night games forming the ‘C’ category.

So they are just the same price as the majority of last season then, aren’t they? Handful of ‘Cat A’s’, night matches at ‘Cat C’, rest of the weekend games at ‘Cat B’.

Cat A £30 to £35

Cat B £25 to £30

Cat C £20 to £25
