Well we'll be in league one at the end of the season so who knows.

A much dumbed down, cheaper model to run with top playing assets and fixed assets cashed in but an academy producing players going straight into a league one team and sustaining it would be cheaper and therefore easier to sell.

What those who write all this 'relegation on purpose' stuff off as wild conspiracy fail to take into account is how business and finance people really look at things. Those drawing up future sale plans have zero empathy or attachment and purely look at facts and figures.

Managed decline is a real concept and whilst relegation might not be an actual short term aim they'll also factor in the real risk of it running the current set up presents.  Then it's a case of if/when that happens this is what we'll do to take advantage of the situation.

If you wanted to get rid of a championship club that was costing 15 mill a season but would only fetch about double that in a sale you wouldn't keep pumping in 15 mill. No, you'd reduce costs, steamline it, cash in it's own assets and reduce the whole thing in size to minimise your losses and make it easier to have a quick sale.

Rovers as it is or was didn't present a good investment to anyone who doesn't just want to waste 10s of millions on a plaything. However a club like Blackburn Rovers with a cheap wage bill, minimised losses, little to no external debt and an academy producing players, no big contracts on the books and the potential to rebuild it back up from league 1 all available for 25 mill suddenly becomes a very interesting proposition for investors.

Not wanting to cut off the hopium supply, but the Bergkamp consortium is looking at League 1/2 clubs aren't they, with the narrative being around pushing into the championship. Or has there been a recent update?

A few of the press reports say they are looking at League 1/2 clubs, but I heard it mentioned on a couple of Arsenal fan streams last week that it is a Championship club they are after. There was a tweet from a journo which they were discussing on the stream and it mentioned Championship clubs as their point of interest.

Obviously, I'm not saying they are in for us. Yet. Just that it could be a possibility if this lot are forced into a sale. No matter what parts of our fan base would have people believe, we are a big deal at this level and a better proposition than any League 1/2 club they could be in for. Bergkamp knows what we're about from his playing days. As did JDT. The true football people know, and they know that we're in this mess and situation for one reason only. Just because this shit has gone on for 14 years, it does not mean that this is our level and that we should just accept this. No chance. The issue is getting these bastards gone so that we can start to recover. We need the Indian High Court to do the business.

It's a nice fantasy, but as Matty said I agree I just can't see a day when these lot aren't owners.

You might be right and it does feel as though we are stuck with them. However, I feel that this Court issue could be the thing that many of us have been waiting for. A turning point, maybe. For the first time in 14 years we are hearing murmurs of them being forced to sell the club, if they can't send funds over. Then there's the Insider account saying that the family are considering selling for the first time and that two thirds of them are in agreement, with one undecided. The Court's verdict being key. Some might say that's bullshit and not to believe a twitter account. I can understand that, but that account has got a few other things spot on recently. There is also a beloved agency officially dissolving early into next year.

It might be wishful thinking, but I'm looking at the way things are unfolding and seeing it as leading to them selling up soon.

There is also  iv'e read some new govt legislation coming into force in the EU in regards clamping down on money laundering in football  ?

Something it is believed is still going on despite close monitoring because there are so many ways and so many loopholes to be exploited.

Well that's no bad thing, whenever i hear the term 'Super Agent' i always think of Samba being sold to a dodgy Russian club after the window closed.

For a sum very similar to the amount Vs owed to Barclays at the time !

So far, most Sweden supporters are behind JDT.

Larssons comments haven't gone down well with those supporters, who have suggested he stop being an entitled 20 year old and support the rest of the team instead of sulking.

Results not been that good for JDT...couple of big losses.

JDT is a great manager when the going is good, but as impressive as his attacking stats were and beating prem sides in the cup etc, that he faired so poorly against sides near the bottom and top of the Championship, and virtually never got us back into a game after we went behind tells its own story.

He's got an attacking philosophy that would make Kevin Keegan blush, and if you haven't got the players for it (as he didn't really at Rovers and I doubt he has in Sweden) it's a problem.

Still remember watching us home against Sunderland last season with all sorts of smart combinations, massive overloads down the channels with Travis overlapping Moran and Brittain , every outfield player in the opposition half, probably the best passing football I have seen since the Prem. But we lost 3-1....

Will be a great manager.

Had high standards that the club wouldn't match. Huge wasted opportunity.

He saw right through the shysters like Waggott and the curtain twitcher. I honestly think Eustace will go the same way after what is shaping up to be a (another) hugely disappointing transfer window.

Highly likely.

JDT is of far higher calibre than Eustace in my opinion. The players didn’t like his high standards. Eustace is deemed a better man manager - I just think the players get an easier ride.

Backing JDT with any kind of decent funding would have yielded great results.

He's a winner and ambitious players will see that and want to be a part of what he was trying to achieve. Unfortunately the ambition ended with him and as soon as the slightest glimpse at the rest of the club was seen by potential players they were off to a real club.

Had he been given even £1million in the January window we'd have likely managed to get into the automatic places. Instead the owners and their underlings did everything they could to sabotage those efforts.
