Gary Neville says in injury time “I’m not sure it’s a good idea for Mina to be staying down deliberately because all the referee is going to do is add extra time on.”

And that’s the problem. Because he added just 17 seconds on. So it was absolutely spot on for Mina to sit on the deck for almost 50 seconds because referees are incapable of taking action against it. How many times in a season have I whinged  about this.

Leicester will lose a number of key players in the summer.  Maddison Barnes tielemans. Vardy Evans will probably pack it in. Losing a top class keeper like schmiecal in the summer was devastating and replacing him with inept keepers like ward and iverson was foolish

In the end, Everton survived because they were decisive enough to remove their manager with a few months to go and appoint somebody who'd been there and done it before. Leicester waited until April before questionably appointing Dean Smith, whilst Leeds didn't appoint a worthwhile manager until the beginning of May. As much of a mess as Everton have been this season, and it's not like Dyche has pulled up any trees during his tenure thus far, Leicester and Leeds were even worse. 

Everton fortunate to stay up on that points tally, though, and it'll be interesting to see if Dyche can improve them next season, or if they'll be fighting it out at the wrong end of the table again. Dyche was an improvement on Lampard, but then I probably would have been as well. There wasn't enough of a boost from Dyche that I'd have much confidence going into next season as an Everton supporter, unless the squad has a major revamp. 

Meanwhile, Leicester, welcome to the very small club of relegated PL champions... nice to have some company.

Everton fans dispise Dyche, I would not be too surprised if they end up getting rid over the summer and hire in another "Frank Lampard" type. 

I am going to say their next manager comes mid November and it will be Wayne Rooney.

the way everton is run,they will most likely sack dyche and get someone in who has`nt got a clue and they will end up in the same position they are in now,sooner or later they will get relegated

Leicester are going to have a fire sale, but which top teams would want rubber dinghy men like Maddison, Tielamans or Barnes? That squad had some quality but still went down.

And how many times are Everton going to escape on the last day? There are deep, fundamental issues there with the massive spending but putting their fans through this so often.

They were level on league titles with Man United when the PL started in 1992.

They’re a more successful Newcastle in reality. Their fan base is absolutely massive.

Everton are probably in the top 5 of list of the most successful clubs in the the history of English football. 

Potentially a huge club with their fanbase.

Leicester scored more goals than anyone outside the top 10 so I think the attacking players will be ok. It’s the defensive players that have let them down.
