Yes, of course he can turn it around.  Or he can join the long list of flops who thought the grass was greener.

Great performance.  I was struggling to enjoy the game until it sank in we actually had a game plan.  Shape hassling at the right time, back to front and in their net in short order, lovely goals.  Yes of course it is only two games but surely we can be nervously optimistic because of what we have seen in this two games.  Si that's what a proper manager.can do, love it.  Let's see, as GS used to say, what he does after we get punched on the nose.

I haven't watched the full game yet, just saw the goals on YT.

To get up to speed I decided to watch the post match presser from Martin.

It would appear that there was some friction between the benches so if Lowe was behind that then that's a bonus point to him I never expected to give.

It's worth a look as Martin covers us, our tactics quite a bit.

Martin spoke well and committed to their passing football but struggles to find an answer to teams that sit back to transition to fast counters. He's not alone with that conundrum.

One of these lower league managers with a superiority complex because he has his team passing the ball for passing its sake even when he doesn’t have the players to pull it off.

The rest of the league certainly won’t ‘hate’ picking them off and taking three points…

I don’t know anything about that manager but he would irritate the hell out of me if I was a Swansea fan. We have to find solutions to problems is his equivalent of we’re on journey. Delusional as well with his style of play being so effective, rovers let Swansea have the ball because they did fuck all with it and as for played in our third, at times it was, but mostly sideways passing not in our third.

That's both games that we've seen Rovers keep a clean sheet and play out the last few minutes calmly,virtually without incident. 

Can't help thinking that losing Lenihan might well be a factor.

Agree, He was in the Championship team of the season. You dont make that unless you're good in your position in the league. its the 'He's shit anyway' mentality whenever a player leaves.
