Ash has looked solid. No nonsense, mostly played safe but solid defensively.   The fact Wharton is out and Pickering is lumbering, the only two players to feature midweek, shows how thin our side is. Need reinforcements for when we play 3 in a week.

Brereton is starting to score goals out of nowhere and make goals for himself - a priceless asset to any team. His injury at WBA last February probably cost us a top 6 place. If we keep him this window it will be a major coup and sign of intent
