Tbh it really is atrocious football side ways and backward passing when on Saturday we saw direct football scores goals ! SS has been shockingly poor no supply too many loose passes and not a single player willing to put a foot on that fucking round thing called a football 🤬🤬

Do any of the players want to pass it forwards?  Their first instinct seems to look backwards for a pass

Agree. We’re the kings of going backwards and sideways.

So much for the press.

We need to up the ante and move forwards. If we insist on playing it out from the back, the receiving midfielder has to control the ball, turn and start moving FORWARDS, ffs.

We have to be better than this, Wigan are a classic scrappy l1 team and we are making it too simple, need to move the ball a lot quicker, hirst is too slow and looks out his depth, for what I can see of him he’s not by any means a championship player, needs to be taken off for Dolan or Gallagher

We only play through balls in our own third to guys checking in 70 yards to goal. We get to half, then go back to hood it forward. Complete madness. It’s only a matter of time before we concede
