I agree and if he did want to take off Gallagher I'd have brought Dack on and let him roam, not Szmodic.

I think the problem is that we don't have great options on the bench - we have a whole host of #10s when Gallagher and Brereton start. 

He'll take Phillips off shortly - he's very much interested in protecting the youngsters, which is the correct thing to do if you're aiming for the long term.

I'd be fine with one of Szmodics or Dolan and let them play up with Brereton, but he's brought both on and guess what they've hardly touched the ball. Indeed Rovers hardly have collectively.
