For the love of all things holy please please please bring in a CM or two,  Buckley and Travis can be sold.

Bring in another striker and send Hirst back, (very glad he's proving me right from when we first signed him, said he's the worst striker I'd seen and he just truly is woeful)

Ross Stewart looks class but don't see Sunderland selling.

You're very glad that one of our signings has been an awful failure?

Morgan Whittaker at Plymouth...good young player worth a look.

I would take the striker Ryan Hardie from Plymouth.

So much work needed to this squad. Midfield and attack is woeful. No pace, no creativity, no power, no goal scorers.

We are 3rd in the league so we must have some pace, creativity and goalscorers. We missed Dolan today

Personally I'd say we've got a pretty good set of centre mids. The issue is we hang them out to dry tactically.

If we want to play two midfielders against three or four opposition mids they need to be exceptional both physically and technically to come out on top. I don't think we will be signing anyone who is exceptional. If we bring in Bannan or anyone really the fact that they have no support will not change.

Well then, it’s that time again…let’s pretend it’s football manager.

GOOD ENOUGH

Kaminski

Brittain

Pickering

Ayala

Hyam

Wharton

Carter

Dolan

Hedges

A. Wharton

Gallagher

BBD

CAN ACCEPT

Pears

Eastham

Phillips

Morton

Szmodics

Buckley

Travis

MUST LEAVE LOAN

Hilton

Garratt

Markanday

MUST LEAVE

Edun - has been terrible since he signed

JRC - two good games doesn’t do enough to forget the years of crap

Mola - his Rovers career was over after Burnley

Dack - I still think he has something but if the manager doesn’t he’s an expensive waste

Hirst - one of the worst strikers I’ve seen here

Vale - for me, as bad as Hirst

That means, if life was simple, we need as a minimum:

1X CM

1x LWB

1x RWB

2X Forward

If you are right and we need those 5 players, what sort of budget do you think needs to be made available to the relevant decision makers at the club, and how likely is it that that sort of budget is/will be available ?

Well, I’d go something like…

RWB: Back up player, less than 1M

LWB: Back up player, less than 1M

CM: What’s that big angry central midfielder called at Coventry? What does he cost? 5M?

Forward: Would have to be a loan.

Dack aside, I'd agree with that.

maybe we should look at loaning Leeds right back Cody Drameh for rest of the season. Did very well at Cardiff last season

do you mean Gustavo Hamer? only 5ft 6 but very good quality midfielder

I would look at Ryan Hardie from Plymouth. 8 goals this season and out of contract in 6 months I believe.

Oh I see. Bit of a waste of your time then, no?

Well yes, but I also spend about 40 hours a month working unpaid on a football forum that turns a profit every month. So if anyone’s good at wasting their time, it’s me.

I’m sick and tired of us signing back up players. When are we going to sign a player who is the first name on the team sheet.

Jesus, he’s only 5 ft 6? It felt like he was 6 ft 3 when he dominated our midfield.

That who I think you meant. 18 months left on his contract

Who says we only signed back up players.

Didn't we sign Hyam and Morton this summer who are first names on the team sheet?
