Been busy the last couple of days, just logging in to see who we've signed. Obviously our new dynamic DOF will be eradicating the failures of previous regimes by getting our deals done early and not scratching around for leftovers on deadline day.

Season tickets are the number one factor and they obviously have Horwich and area on their doorstep where they now monopolise support.

One of the biggest things for them now is the amount they draw from Chorley especially amongst the youth. The club recognised all the support on their doorstep coupled with their rebirth and piped into the feel good factor.

All our lot do is increase prices there was a similar feel good factor after league 1 promotion but they did nothing.

A sell on clause has been confirmed before, LT have mentioned it in articles. I think it was somewhere in the region of 20%. I dunno if that's on the profit or outright.

Won't increase those values from behind their desk or the lethargic attempts of looking no further than a 2 mile radius. A point I made to SW, when they threw in that different genders is part of their new USP Rather than catchment area

Can’t see is personally, just become a father, would he really uproot straight away to Spain with a new born? More likely to leave in the summer for free when things have settled down at home abit.

£8m for Diaz wouldn't really be a vindication of the model considering we'd be breaking even on him at best, and will have gained nothing beyond mid-table Championship finishes. £15m for Armstrong was a better example of where the so-called model actually worked, probably more through luck than conscious effort.

At £8m, we're probably breaking even on BBD (with wages / bonuses / etc) - as the promotion caveat has not been triggered, Forest will have received £4m-£5m from us (with an add-on from the sale).

Still, better than nothing as it would be in the summer and you'd like to think that at least some of that will be reinvested. Though, this Venky's we're talking about...

I hope it's true, the time is right for him and it's an amazing opportunity for him to try himself at a higher level. He's the type of player who will be better with better players around him.

Surely, SURELY, a decent sell-on has to be part of any deal...
