Good point that, well done Rovers.

The subs were awful though and nearly lost us the game as a result; the nothingness of Hedges and the aimless running around of Szmodics.

Thank goodness Brereton remembered how to shoot.

Hyam was really poor. Wharton going off weakened the defence. Sorba going off took away an outlet.

Overall, the best I’ve seen us play for a while. 1st half in particular we were decent in a tough away game, 2nd half not so much, but they will be feeling good getting a draw there.
We still create very very little (0.66xG today - think that’s 4 in a row sub 1), but look more solid overall.

Travis can frustrate in his attacking and general footballing ability, but he offers more than Morton/Buckley as a central midfielder (e.g closing down, winning the ball back, just not quick enough to make anything with it).

Cameos from Szmodics and Hedges were underwhelming, but won’t judge that much. Dolan is a better option than Gallagher as a central striker which shows how dire Sam is. No more Tyler Morton please, nothing more to say on that

Hopefully JRC is okay, stick him in the middle with Travis and Brittain at RB and let’s have some home wins coming up.

Gone from having a bizarre 6 months of not being able to get a draw to now ONLY DRAWS.

Could only happen at VenkysBrfc.

I'll take it though!!! So far for his first season you cant really say JDT has done a poor job! especially considering what he has to work with and who he is working for!!

I agree with you. Seems we are starting to more look a gritty team fighting for points and we do play some nice football with great intensity...but some players let you down.

Full time! 1-1! Huge two away points from Watford and West brom, we competed and tbf the goals we conceded in both games were avoidable as hell!

If only we could of shown up against Wigan! ..beat Swansea on Saturday and its been a brilliant 2 weeks tbf! We just need to be more brave going forward, a bit quicker, all in all though can't complain about the last to performances! Get in

I wonder how far away Wharton is from action - he's not afraid to pass the ball forwards, unlike Morton.

Dolan & Piers had good games.

First half we battled well but that Second half was a shocker & we were lucky to get a goal.

I agree with bringing Dack off. Even though we seem to collapse when it happens. We’ve got a busy scehdule & need him as fit as possible.

Thomas didn’t get onto the ball as much as we’d like.

Travis was poor & I’ll be popping champagne the day Tyler Morton goes back to Liverpool - Truely awful player.

New CMs in summer please GB.

I'm amazed people are moaning, I expected nothing from the last two games. Two points from two difficult away games.

Fair enough we'll f*** it up at home to Swansea and Blackpool like...

Three points from the last three games, in my opinion is just about acceptable, but we could have had the same three points with a win in the first game, at home to the then bottom club Wigan.

Happy with the point tonight. I thought we shaded the first half, but looked devoid of ideas in the second. Given that WBA had won their last 6 on the bounce at home and not conceded in those either, it’s a good result. Add into the mix, we were 1 down after 89 minutes and it’s almost a miracle point.

It's clear that Pears has actually become a decent goalkeeper. Probably our best player on the night. The rest were pretty average except for Travis and Morton. I couldn't decide who was worse until Mortons stupid flick leading to their goal, obviously compounded by Trav having a winge on the floor rather than doing his bloody job.

I actually think a draw was a fair result. West Brom weren't all that, but we are devoid of creativity. I thought we had no chance of an equaliser.

A good point, Pears played well. Delighted that we have managed to come from behind and Brereton has managed to get a goal. Cameron Archer scores again for Boro, another striker who was available and could have made a difference. At the death, we had a real chance to break and win it, why the hell did Brereton basically cull it and go backwards.

Second half performance was horrendous... but a point here is a good result.

We desperately need an O'Brien in midfield, but stuck with Morton/Buckley/Travis who are all not good enough for a promotion chasing side.

Yeah that’s how I see it too. 2nd half was poor after a decent enough 1st half.
Morton/Buckley too slow and weak. Travis not good enough with the ball. Tricky to know the best combo. I’d go Travis and JRC next week, maybe JRC can be our O’Brien type, he’s been one of our best attacking outlets recently from full back!

Hedges was looking a star player a potential the beginning of the season. the fks happened to him! even szmodics was chipping in with goals and making himself busy to begin with.

It's hard to impact the game in a 15-20 minute cameo unless you're an incredible player. Both struggled to get up to the speed of the game - it happens.

Yes in the league but done it several times in the cups

Nearly every cup game actually, you're right. Bradford, West Ham, Forest, the first Brum game. Every cup game where we have gone behind, we have equalised (though in some we have still gone on to lose). The only times we haven't scored an equaliser at some point in cup games is when we haven't gone behind.

Strange that it has taken us until now to do it in the league, especially with so many less cup games and sometimes facing higher league opposition in the cups. The stats this year have been utterly bizarre! From our WLWL streaks (or win 5 then lose 5), to no league draws all season then 4 in a row, and this strange quirk with cup equalisers vs league equalisers.
