Great to see a bit of spirit bit far too late for a decent rallying cry.

We were abysmal and deserved nothing overall. 

JRC and Dolan need some time on the bench, Brittain absolutely needs to be restored to RB and Diaz back in attack.

A great many, in the history of Blackburn Rovers, let alone world football history. But they were poor, as usual. Absolutely suckered by the Stoke players on numerous occasions. Amazed they didn't give them one of those iffy penalty claims.

Another very bad night at the office from Rovers and it is now imperative we regroup and come back stronger for Reading home game. Some people will underreact about todays result and say it’s only one game, but we need to focus on why we have so many hammerings away under JDT which have jeopardised our play off place this season.

Britains cross is what we have missed often this season when, instead of taking men on and crossing to the back post, we pass backwards and sideways too much. Time we started doing that early next game. BBD and Gallagher were both as shite as the rest but did score two headed goals.

We were back to where we were before this run. Too much slow play in and around our own area, coupled with defending you see on the park every weekend .They can put that right though. All is not lost. Good wake up call tonight.

The late goals will take some of the sting out of it, file it and move to the next match.

A good effort to get two late goals but they felt really more a product of Stoke stopping the press that had done so well. Over the 90 we were well and truly beaten, well played Stoke. You can bet every team we play now will try to replicate their approach 

Didn't see much to show we have many ideas about how to handle the next team that do that to us aside from starting Brittain and BBD.

I do feel we need more of a tactical plan B. We push so many players up we are left so exposed at the back if the opposition is smart as they were tonight.

That stoppage time just confirmed their shit for brains! 

Gallagher barging into the back of the player 

The throw in by the corner flag, crowd the box and long throw and you’ll get a chance with the ball dropping, but we throw it short and give them a goal kick  

Bad day all round, really disappointing but Reading at home is a must (and should)-win now.

JRC has been brilliant recently, but he isn’t a right back (can’t defend). 
Buckley so so weak in the middle. 

Diaz and Brittain to come in mid-week and move JRC in to replace Buckley and Diaz down the middle instead of Gallagher. 

It’s a blip and maybe a reality check for some in the prediction thread who had us with 1 defeat until the end of season. Easier games to come and there’s a reason Stoke were 1/1 and we were 3/1.

The second half we were descent... The first half abysmal display and Dolans poor marking ruined it for us tonight....shows why you must focus and I've seen it before with Dolan and in my eyes he should not have started with a fit again Diaz in the team.

It's genuinely a talent thing. 

The system doesn't help - in the sense that it asks a lot from the players and isn't designed to cover their weaknesses - but for a lot of the guys in this squad, if they're not playing near their capacity then they're a passenger.

There's no cruising through games at 70-80% for these players, they're simply not good enough - which is why we struggle when the fixtures pile up.

Hate, hate hate Pearson…we should have signed him. EVERY time he plays against us.. he’s the man we are BOYS .

Hedges , Gallagher , JRC …nothing short of embarrassing for their third goal…can’t think of one player who deserved the shirt….as for Morton, Buckley …can cope with lack of ability..can’t cope with lack of balls many didn’t even want a 60/  40 ……..

Just  soooo glad I didn’t travel ….thoughts are with those who did ….
