He started well last night. I'll temper it with the fact that it was against West Ham whose players look like they've had enough of their manager.

I am no fan of David Moyes but I am delighted. What is it with these nothing clubs who after years of scraping around near the bottom find a manager who pushes them up the table and then the fans turn on him bescause he doesn't "play the right way"

Everton are the same a year or two in that new staium and they will have Dyche out for some nobody, (probably Aresnal's asistance manager) who I hope will get them relegated.

Poor defending from United there, nobody picked up Fashanu from Laurie Sanchez's corner.

Cesc Fabregas says “That’s not Barcelona football”.

Arsenal hand Amorim his first defeat and hopefully will also deprive them of the FA Cup at the first hurdle.

No shortage of goals in the PL tonight that's for sure.

Hope so, the sooner we can guarantee Rovers' record stands undefeated for another three years the better!

Liverpool game was an absolute cracker.

It really was.

In the first half Newcastle forced Liverpool into making so many mistakes and should have been more than 1 up at half time. It is looking like Slot knows what he is doing as Liverpool were a different team in the second half, and if it wasn't for the only mistake I've ever seen Kelleher make Liverpool would have won it.

I was in Liverpoo briefly last night and conditions were really nasty but not especially dangerous I didn't think.

Tail wagging the dog again, the safety authorities calling it off on the freak chance someone gets hit by a bit of debris or a slate or something I presume.

I’ve no idea what makes people think Ratcliffe has any idea what he’s doing.

Nearly every (maybe every) sports ‘venture’ he’s got involved in has led to said team/club underperforming.

Hopefully this trend continues with Man U 😁😁

You make an interesting point you make and something I haven't focus on his French team Nice and how they been doing recently. He is partner of F1 team Mercedes which has had a couple of seasons of mixed results but next season should be better

Ratcliffe is making a very basic error in trying to implement normal business practice in the world of football. He was involved as a venture capitalist buying several ailing businesses cheaply (the company I worked for was one of them), making radical changes and making profit before selling them on. It's almost the reverse of that at the Theatre of Dreamers. It's a strange relationship between him and his gang and the Glazers. According to this he owns 25% but controls the football side of things.

Yes the Glazers didn't want to sell the full club but wanted to secure extra investment into the club hence why they took the Ratcliffe offer and give him the control of the football side of the club
