Indeed we do!

A box of viagra was stolen from Boots the Chemist today. Police are looking for a gang of hardened criminals.

I bought some of them new Viagra eye drops. They have done nothing for my love life but have made me look hard.

Been saying for ages why don't they sell that and use the money for the club as it's already in the country and it was buying that has caused some present issues in the first place.

5 mill will be handy in league 1 !

Venky's are selling their nearby mansion for £5m apparently.

Could it be..? Nah I won't get my hopes up

Don't do it to yourself 😆 They're not selling. We're stuck with these chumps.

Some 13 years on and still we dont know why they are still here?.

They appear to want to want to be associated with us but dont want to get involved with the day to day running...they set zero expectations for promotion, they dont address the fanbase, they are now putting in the bare minimum to keep the lights on,what do they get out of it?

Knowing this I really do understand where the accusations of some form of nefarious activity going on comes from.

How much longer have we to suffer this?,its dragging everyone down connected with Rovers but we appear powerless to change it.

Wasn't that house seized as part of the court case?

They can't seize assets over here so no, it was property in India that was seized.

Probably just selling this so they can get that back.

At least they didn't let the contract run down on this one. Don't worry, they've clearly learnt their lesson.

Probably been maintained like Ewood Park hence the price drop

Bought for £7.3 million in 2011. Now offered at £5million. Another good investment.

No Persil here they just really really love losing money.

Bad news in my view if they are flogging the house

It appears this was the source of the 'problems' in India. If they are taking steps to get rid of it that suggests the problem is going to be removed and they can return to business as usual.

A terrible shame if so IMO because the only chance we had of being rid of the scum was if the Indian authorities forced it.

The only thing past any nefarious dealings I can think of is that we are essentially a conversation starter for use at parties/conferences/whatever for them. They stomach the millions of pounds lost so they can say "by the way we own former premier league champions". Like we're not even a plaything but a little trinket put on a shelf

It makes no sense but when have Venkys ever made sense?

Not great investors are they. Such astute business people.

The other way of looking at it is you have the likes of Waggott, Shadow Man, occasionally other staff members when granted an audience, telling them how wonderful they are, how we are ever so grateful for their support, about how the club would cease to exist without their benevolence, about how without them we are a poor small impoverished club.

They might listen to that sort of stuff and genuinely believe that they are doing us a favour. I imagine sitting across a table from paid employees, especially those who talk a good game, might convince the fools that we want/need/like them.

Of course if they had any interest in what was going on they'd realise that this isn't the case

But you get snippets of it from comments made by the likes of Waggott and Mowbray. How they are wonderful kind people, about how we should be ever so thankful for their input. The local media help contribute to this as well, not to mention a large portion of the fanbase.

It may be totally irrelevant but if they are pig headed and listen to sycophants it might explain it.

The club is simply a financial tool for them.

Our only hope is that the investigation has put them under the microscope and they can't get away with the dodgy dealings they were doing previously and they cut their losses and run.

I don’t think selling it gets rid of the problem. The reason for the court hearings to obtain permission to send funds is down to them being found to have sent money illegally. They stated that the house purchase was a payment to fund the club and it was diverted to buy the house and also fund the Canadian singer.

Hopefully they will be prevented from sending any further funds, which in turn means the accountants can’t put the statement into the accounts and we are therefore trading insolvent.

I think they declared the house purchase as an asset of their poultry business so the Indian authorities saw this as a tax dodge.

A chunk of the £5 million may have to go to the Indian Government to make up for the missing tax and maybe a fine. Once that is sorted, they may get some of their seized assets back.

I doubt any of the money will make it's way to Ewood.
