It's all virtually irrelevant to the football club at this stage I think. If they want to fund us they can. But as Paul Mani said they don't like the idea of being personally on the hook for it.

Whether or not the Court case materially affects other areas of their business I've no idea.

I wouldn't say so. True, they can fund us - but they seemingly don't want to with the current obstacles in place.

My hope is that they fail with the case, and then come to the realisation that it's completely unsustainable having to fund the Club via the current method (having to match every £ sent with a bond).

Don't think they do have to, that's the point.

They have to provide a guarantee which presumably doesn't cost them anything as long as they stick to the rules but makes them personally liable if they  send money somewhere they shouldn't again in future.

As you say, it doesn’t cost them a penny as long as they stick to the rules.

What it does do is reduce the cash/borrowing facilities they can use for other matters.

Case adjourned until (I think) 25th March.

One side was pushing for an earlier date, not sure which.

It never ends, and never will.

I imagine that the lack of meaningful acquisitions and/or extra sales in the January window will now have the excuse of "unforeseen complications" in India

It sounds like Indian court system is a mess and I wonder how many court cases are they in the system?
