No but someone has bid money Rigger which Roversfan laughed at Chaddy for suggesting it.

So if someone puts a cash bid in quite clearly there is someone willing to pay cash for him this January.

Who has bid what ?

Ipswich have place multiple bids for Sam Gallagher.Ipswich manager confirmed they bid for him.

Hope that clears it up?

I may be wrong, but wasn't the discussion about Ennis to Bolton as reported by Nixon ?

So obviously someone is willing to pay money for him this January which Roversfan found a ridiculous suggestion when Chaddy mentioned selling him.

£500k loan fee for Ennis. 🤣.
If any proof was required that Mr Nixon was clueless….

I bet it's a mandatory future fee in the summer that Bolton are balking at.

i.e. pay his full wages for 5 months then give us £500k for him in the summer - it's not even a try before you buy.

Think the £500,000 is for a permanent deal, not a loan. Bit confusing but that's the way I read it

Makes way more sense that it would be £500k permanent transfer fee, presumably it's a loan with an obligation to buy that we are pushing for.

Doesn't look good on us that we are trying to ship him out permanently after 1/2 a season.

Looking like an abysmal purchase.

Not if we make 500k on him

Ah that makes a lot more sense. Fairly sure you're right, that he's talking about us wanting a permanent transfer for 500k, whether now, or in the summer as part of a loan deal now.

True, though after his wages, agent fee, national insurance etc, probably more like breaking even. Doesn't sound like we will get the 500k we are asking for though. Not from Bolton anyway. And even if they agreed, I think a League One side might struggle to match the lengthy, lucrative contract we have put him on so it could fall down at that point.

It isn't a love in.

He gets plenty right .Proven every summer that he does.Like the stuff I just mentioned above.

Nixon is a prominent account on twitter, therefore he’s often the first one who people are likely to see ‘report’ on transfers. It doesn’t mean it wasn’t available elsewhere first.

O’Rioirdan was first broken by Andy Dunn in the Mirror’s transfer blog. Nixon was a day after that.

For Wharton, journalist Bobby Manzi puts the Palace link up first, and an hour later it’s on Nixons Patreon.

So he got them right, but didn’t break it. And as a source, he’s only as good as the person he leaches off. You could look on twitter every time he mentions Blackburn, and there will be a good chunk of rumours that just never came close to anything. He sold Wharton to Everton or Newcastle last year, and had Darlow in replacing Kaminski

Now he will also have other contacts outside other journalists so he will certainly get some ‘exclusives’. The problem is, if you look at Nixons feed, he posts about 20 rumours a day. That’s an excessive amount. It’s in his interest to keep his followers / worshippers keen for knowledge and coming back every day. So some of the stuff I think he knows is just bullshit, but he needs it for content. Highlighting the stuff he does get right with an ‘Aye’ is his way of trying to cover the bullshit.

Therefore if he mentions it, it’s worth noting and certainly could have legs. However it’s nowhere near gospel.

Is it a lengthy, lucrative contract? And why are we as fans suddenly worried about National Insurance contributions!?

I don't like Nixon, but in his defence I bet we did enquire about Darlow et al - sometimes a transfer never gets beyond an initial query, but it's still something a journalist in that game is going to report.

Im very surprised someone has offered, and I was wrong with my prediction which I am guessing is what you want me to say having mentioned it a few times. You must have had that comment in your back pocket waiting for me to be wrong.

He is our best striker, as average as he is. The other 3 wouldnt make a Championship striker between us. Yates is a similar level, an underwhelming Championship forward a bit more padded out with penalties but not as quick and strong. A normal club would sell Gallagher now and spend the money on a replacement. A loan wont be good enough IMO.

No I wasn't waiting it wouldn't have been mentioned at all but to be frank im sick of the pathetic comments you make regarding people who discuss Nixon's articles. The way you write your posts and respond to people specifically Chaddy you think your always right. It wasn't just a case of disagreeing with Chaddy you were practically laughing at his suggestion that we could sell Gallagher in this window

Directly after I wrote my message you are going on with nonsense such as "Nixon love in"

Now I do not believe everything I read from Nixon, and yeah he gets plenty wrong but he also every single window gets stuff right.Like only 3 or 4 days ago he broke the Wharton bid.Like he broke the interest in Ennis. The interest in O'Riordan.

So his articles are clearly worth discussing and doesn't need you putting posters down when they  do.

Absolutely buzzing to see Isaac Whitehall back playing for the club. Hopefully still a massive prospect for the club and can kick on injury free for us.

He was certainly the "golden child" of his year (2018-2020). It was obvious from within, that he was the hope of that (average?) crop.

For record, his class was Luke Brennan, Dan Pike, Jalil Saadi, Jordan Eastham, Enzo Boyomo (who is doing well over in Spain), James Connolly, Chanka Zimba, Sam Burns and Sam Durrant. Not exactly the class of '92.

Let's not forget when Blackpool FC officially called bullshit on him last summer.

Yes he gets stuff wrong no doubt

But I could screenshot a whole host of tweets from him that was correct.

Like only last week the Wharton bid from palace.

His articles/tweets are clearly worth discussing
