It's one thing messing up the signing. It's another being classless about it. In the statement today and the previous one from the club, they do not apologise to the player, Orlando, the representatives of both and to us fans. Manners cost nothing (which you'd think would be ideal for our club at the moment) but they seemingly can't afford to use them. Rotten from the top.

There ain’t no chance in hell that Venky’s are shelling out relative big bucks on any deal - let alone a pre contract agreement. Yet more nonsense from the club.

We aren't sure if GB is still in situ or if we'll even continue with the DoF/Head Coach structure. So he may not even be a target if we are completely changing structure (again).

It's an absolute mess.

 

One thing is for sure, Waggott has assured us that there's money without the Wharton sale to keep the club running. So we should have that inevitable warchest this summer *ahem*

Exactly.

however, we will probably continue with a DOF providing the players and employing a coach rather than a manager.

For me…… give me a manager with vast experience of the championship and let him pick his own players to play in his style.

That though, doesn’t fit in with a club still fixed on primarily developing young players and selling them as quickly as possible. That’s a flawed model.

We are not much use at pre contracts either.
