Hill gives us some much needed extra height as well, I’d leave him where he is.

I liked how the full backs were often looking for (and finding) that big diagonal ball over to the opposite wing today. Definitely worked mixing things up a bit than every ball coming inside to Wharton.

We lined up with traditional full backs today for the first time in a long time (as opposed to inverted fullbacks).

And it worked a treat.

Thought Pickering was solid and Hill was one of today's better performers - looks a real talent.

Seen a few comments playing down the win due to how poor QPR are.

It's more than four and a half years since they conceded four at home as far as I can see.

A decent performance, but I'd put more emphasis on the clean sheet than I would on the four goals scored, as it is from defence that we will need to build any consistency as a platform to kick on.

Wharton is exceptionally gifted, but needs to be playing further up the field.

Wharton didnt play further up the field last year. Theres no reason why we couldnt have him and Tronstad deeper although if Travis does play, just dont instruct him to go so far forward.
