It's not an agenda to see that the club does not benefit if hotheads start doing stupid things.

Whatever you want to call it, you are certainly a loan wolf and totally out of kilter with everyone else on this messageboard.

Hopefully they don't happen at Ewood Park anymore. On one of my rare visits to the ground in the 1970s I remember Laurie Cunningham being subjected to appalling abuse.

Do you actually attend Ewood presently , or are you some Venky acolyte ?

Might as well just let those in charge at the club continue to ride roughshod over the fanbase then, eh?
Nowt to see here…..

There have been plenty of people (myself included) who have tried to sit down and have a sensible discussion with the decision makers at the club and got nowhere.

As we have seen in the past, the people involved in the running of the club, have resorted to violence and threats to get their way and although I don’t advocate that, a little bit more heat, at the right time, now needs applying, as the nicely, nicely approach, has got us nowhere.

What does "personally targeting " mean ? You do realise that harassment and intimidating behaviour are criminal offences ?

Of course, yet the people who were running the club, post takeover, were prepared to do exactly that and seem to have got away scot free.

We could do with taking a leaf out Blackpool’s book.

They stood by us in the Oysten era perhaps we could call on them again. I know Burnley find this funny but the scary thing Is it's becoming increasingly more common and could happen to literally any club.

The only solution is a change to the way football clubs are owned and operated. They absolutely should never be allowed to be fully privately owned as they are our national and cultural heritage and a cornerstone of local communities.

This change can only be brought about by fan organisation from all clubs demanding this. The 51% model that operates in Germany, although not perfect, is a good way to fo this as it allows for investment and involvement from outside capital but gives the membere, i e the fans, majority control over their own club.

Before the naysaying lemmings chime in with "£20million a year", there'd have to be a transition period from private to fan ownership whereby the membership is not liable for debts and losses accrued under the old ownership. This would be to allow the clubs to financially get themselves together.

Or we could just carry on doing absolutely nothing....

Well said. Where do we start?

Naturally I would expect the Rovers Trust to be well underway with this process already, forming a strong union with other fan representative groups.

Whether that's actually happening is another matter. They're not big on communicating with the membership unfortunately.

The only solution is to take the fight to the very top with a united front.

Are you expecting or fearing racist chants? Is that what you are getting at? Because that's the only conclusion that can be drawn from you randomly mentioning Laurie Cunningham.

If that is your concern, you're probably the only one thinking that might happen.

To my knowledge, in all the years of anti Venky chants (not that they have happened often) there has never been racism involved. Their race has never been the issue. You don't need any of us to tell you that.

Just remember who planted that particular seed before the media...about Rovers fans having a 'dark agenda' or whatever term that scumbag used.

If you think that people are going to put in significant outside capital and then settle for "the fans" to effectively decide how it is spent you are naive in the extreme. The German model developed as a result of the historic "sporting club" concept in Germany, usually attached to large companies and has not been adopted anywhere else.

If that did happen obviously it was totally wrong and should have been reported to the police

It was reported to the police, as were several other incidents. I am pretty surprised that you don’t know about it, as I suspect most other people on here do.
