Can Siggy leap over a Mini, or throw a golf ball the length of Ewood ?

Is that something that comes up a lot in football matches?

Like all footballers he will sign for whichever club offers him the most money and ultimately chance of progression to a top league.

So, if almost any other Championship club is interested, them.

It makes the most sense to sign to a longer deal a CF who is a proven non scorer?

The club propaganda unit infest every bit of social media.

Normally I ignore this shit but there are limits.

all that helps towards to FFP meaning we can spend more.

Commercially the clubs needs to get more productive and get a better shirt sponsor, more ground sponsorship and increase Commercial revenue. Can the current CEO and Commercial team do this?

They've already proven they can't or won't do. If rumours of Watson Ramsbottom replacing Totally Wicked as main sponsor it only further highlights the very very limited thinking that goes on down there, basically speed dial one of the existing ones and see if they'll increase their deal.

The owners can only put such much money in each season which is why I would like to end FFP rules and allow owners of clubs to spend as much as they like as long as its own money being put into the club and not bank loans

exactly. He is promising player with a good goalscoring record. Plus as you have said he has just broken in the national team

who says he hates Rovers?

Anyone who’s got decent eyesight, or access to glasses or contact lenses.

I’d love to loan or if we have money to spend buy Jay Stansfied and loan with a view to buy Tom Cannon. Add a rapid tricky winger and we could have quite a forward line.
Also,  I’d sell Siggy if he isn’t going to sign an extension to his contract.

That might be difficult !

Its embarrassing, the sort of Sponsorship deal seen at a lowly Div 2 Club not former Premier League winners and the most successful Town Club in the Country.

Diabolical.

one of the biggest problems is the lack of commercial nous at the club. We should be looking bigger and better sponsors to sponsor our 150 year anniversary as a football club. Plus more sponsors around Ewood Park

he has covered since before Jack Walker ownership, he did regular podcasts on this website in past years and this site posted his Rovers articles on here.

It all points to the people employed at Ewood not being fit for purpose.

Does that not appear a reoccuring theme down Ewood way Chadders?

Gregg going no biggie. He did very well with the contract situation but that was it. I don't believe he found Smozdics i think that was already in the pipe. Big window hopefully Wharton moves i wouldn't be too sad if we sold Sammie for 20m if we can. Gally and Dolan extension i understand, i would like us to tie down Siggy as well, i believe there is a player there. Carter I am no convinced of, but strangely enough i am quite happy with Hyam, Carter, O'Riodan, Kyle. I wouldn't mind getting Ben Chrisene back on loan as back up left back. With Travis coming back as well we will have some steal in midfield. I would like a creative midfielder to come in and 2 or 3 strikers to come back. I am quite happy with Leonard i feel like he will only get better. Pears needs to go asap, would love a proper safe Keeper in if possible. Markanday can go as well i have given up on him.

The fact they felt they had to bring a DoF in just so we could give contracts to youth players shows how piss poor in fact downright disasterus Waggot and the shadow MDs running of the club is.

Anybody praising him for that is a bit naive it's a given at most clubs whatever model they operate it's basic bread and butter stuff.

And that isn't a dig at Broughton it's again highlighting what a pathetic ###### runs this club but hes covered his arse now with all the sales paying the bills.

I have mentioned the problems with the commercial side for the last 12 months or so and the lack of commercial driven CEO and experience head of commercial is what we lacked on the club.

Wharton is definitely a patchy player, but is also a Rovers fan.

Maybe we shouldn't be so quick to get rid of people who actually care about the club being succesful (particularly when their values influence the dressing room as well)

I do believe I called this a few weeks ago in this thread. The lad goes to Rossall and has been overlooked by every club in the area apart from one that is owned by a family friend.

You certainly have an issue with the commercial side, who doesn’t.

I have problems with the commercial side of the club, lack of proper communication with the fanbase lack of season tickets on sale yet, prices of ST and match day to get more fans on at Ewood park, etc

You do though seem to be happy enough with the football side.

I am happy with Eustace as head coach, I wouldn't have remove GB but he did need to improve his signings especially loans. We need to find that goalscorer striker we lacked still.

If you are sacking him cos of poor transfer record then I couldn't argue especially if you are bringing in someone with more experience in that role.

Sadly, the lack of nous is not related just to our Commercial Dep.!

Notwithstanding that, a huge problem is the product they are trying to sell!  Which credible sponsors / companies want to be linked to, IMO, such a shambolic organisation - it's hardly likely to help their profile!  Furthermore, as a sponsor or purchaser of corporate facilities, trying to get your customers/clients into your corporate box at Rovers can be very difficult (just not an attractive proposition) - it's not like offering your customers/clients corporate entertainment at City, York races or a Peter Kay concert!

It's, IMO, one huge mess and sadly we do not have the calibre of personnel to try and turn it around.
