Absolutely gutted for Sam Barnes. He was the best defender we had in the preseason that JDT joined. Not sure what’s happened for him to end up leaving…

I see Mcfadz AND Fleck are in contractual discussions too…😬

Confirms we have taken the 1 year option on Gally and Dolan (sigh) and we are in discussions with Fadz and Fleck (why the fuck would we be?)

Also, thought Charlie Weston was highly rated?

another year of gallagher😒feel sorry for sam barnes,he was very highly rated at one time but has had a terrible time with injuries, have no idea why we are negotiating with fleck,he`s now broken his leg 3 times in 3 seasons, obviously that is`nt an issue with the spanners who run the club

Agreement with who?

It can’t be with the court, as that was adjourned. Waggott stated that a precedent had been set and he therefore expected permission to be granted at the meeting in February. If the court have agreed that they can now send that money that why is it reported that it was adjourned. Surely the meeting would have had to have taken place for a decision like that to have been made.

Why are we in talks with John Fleck? He has a plate in his leg and has barely played any football in years. We took a stupid risk last time, got a kick after 17 minutes, didnt play again yet we dont learn from our mistakes.

Surprised Cirino and Fyles have also been released. I thought they were highly rated too.

The only other option would be an agreement with the Directorate Of Enforcement but if that was the case we wouldn’t have been fed the ‘technical and procedural  issues’ line.

Really bloody annoying how frequently we make mistakes in our club correspondence

Have we ever had a player called Jay Haddock?

Steve Wagott oversees such as an amateur operation. Have some respect. He does not deserve his wage

Something fishy going on. It says Haddow now.

giving gallagher another year is basically saying,we ar`nt buying another striker as this one is sufficient to achieve our aims, ffs put the house, car and the savings on us getting relegated, especially is sammie is sold

It could be a tactic to allow us to sell him, instead of him walking for nothing, like Brereton and others.

I'm really surprised Saadi has been offered a new deal. He is 22 and has spent time in loan at the likes of Marine. If he accepts I think he will be on peanuts but given our financial situation I think it's money wasted. Isaac Whitehall has been offered a new deal but I think he has something to offer despite spending nigh on two seasons injured. Similarly Alex Baker has been out injured for a long time and like Whitehall is clearly being offered a deal to prove his fitness. In light of these two I really don't understand letting Sam Barnes go. Surely he too should be given a chance to prove his fitness. Frankly I'm amazed that Fleck has been offered a deal.

The meeting did take place in March and was promptly adjourned until August. Rovers then released a statement that as a result of that meeting that there remained only ‘technical and procedural’ matters remaining that ‘should’ have no impact on the funding of Rovers going forward.

gally is`nt worth anything like what brereton was worth before we let him walk away,we`ll be lucky to get half a million for him

Or, it's the simplest, cheapest, most convenient solution to a problem, so that's the route our senior management operate.

I suspect there'll be a nice kick back for someone who gives him another contract 😉

I'd say "I guess he hasn't set the world alight at Kidderminster", but we've sacked our DoF and Waggott is calling the shots now, so who knows.

Offering Fleck a deal is insulting to everyone, he’s been paid since January for 17 minutes and was a desperation move even then

According to President Nixon there was a clause in his deal which triggered a new contract offer if he played fifteen minutes or more. 😁😁

It is absolutely insane though considering what he has already cost us.

Cirino was a willing trier but never going to make it at this level but i expect/hope he'll get fixed up lower down the chain.
