have the shithouses turned the transfer budget tap off,it`s gone very quiet and it`s concerning to go into the  season with a tiny squad like ours

Two working days until the court case is my assumption as to why we’ve gone quiet.

But neither of those things you mention equate to people saying we should just accept what Ipswich have offered.

Szmodics would potentially kick off if he didnt get his move, it quite likely would never come again. And there is probably a chance that our incompetent owners and those 2 clowns running the show for them will have messed around, we dont know but certainly have form for it. But neither means we should just accept what they offered, youve jumped to that conclusion.

But I firstly assume that we would be alone in not getting any players in should that happen. And also those sides have more senior players than us beyond the first 11, they arent very good but not as much of a drop off as us going from players who are better than the starting line ups/first 14 or 15 players that they have, to total novices or players out of position.

Its very much a case of if we dont get anyone in, I would like to think we will get players in i

If you say so

So if the bid is/was £8 million that was rejected Szmodic would be right to kick off and Rovers would be wrong to deny him his move to the prem?

People ARE making out that it's Rovers in the wrong and Rovers are the reason he hasn't got his move.

The reported bid that was rejected was £6 million....Ipswich would have to add a lot to that to make a bid acceptable imo

Does Szmodics sounded like he is going to kick off? does his performances in the last 2 games show this? Not for me, He will disappointed but I think it could work in our favour

He might kick off, either way he will be very disappointed that a potentially final chance at playing Premier League football will come and go. Its not about whether he would be right to do so, he will think about it from his persective.

We dont know why the deal hasnt been agreed. Maybe the bids are too low. Maybe weve moved the goalposts and its little wonder why people assume that we have messed them around considering our history under these owners and their stooges.

So equally, you are saying it definitely is just that the bids are too low. We dont know what has happened. But it doesnt mean that people actively want us to accept bids if they arent very high or that people actively want him to sell.

I havent seen any one who actively wants him to go. I think people fear a last minute sale and "no time to replace" situation so are bracing themselves.

But my point is a poster on here said Szmodic would be RIGHT to kick off if we dont let him go to Ipswich and rovers wrong for not accepting the bid .He signed a contract in November with no release clause that we know of.Rovers have every right to ask what they want for him and anything under 10 million is a joke imo yet Rovers are a disgrace for not doing a deal at £8.5

Think anyone with a degree of knowledge about body language would suggest he looked a tad pissed off as he trudged off the pitch when subbed at Stockport and certainly not because he'd been subbed!

3 goals and an assist .Szmodic mood only becomes an issue if he downs tools which he clearly hasn't.Nobody is expecting him to be happy over not securing a prem move yet after the season of his life

I personally thought it was because he missed a very good chance for his hat trick minutes prior

Christ alive.  Results are looking decent enough let's turn the taps off.  There's a risk we get playoffs if we improve too far.

the board absolutely livid by eustace actions,he`s been warned that winning to many games is not acceptable and any impingement on the top six is strictly frowned upon.suhail reported to mama venky that rovers were  third in the league and she fainted at the news, ordering a thorough investigation of why rovers were nearly in the premier league

Fee agreed now on sky

In which case we should be seeing some come in. The squad is somehow considerably smaller than last season and whilst there is the argument that we've started well in an attacking sense we also need to bear in mind Sammie was on when the majority of those goals were scored.

Will be a massive loss but there is an opportunity to use this as an opportunity to create a better squad... wishful thinking I know.

Not sure on that.

The fee will be undisclosed, again, and the cash will most likely go into the same black hole previous sales have ended up in.

I hope I'm wrong like....

Sammie gone according to SSN, medical in the morning.

I see three scenarios playing out:

1) Venkys win their court case on Tuesday and - subject to still being interested in doing so - begin to fund the club again. That will mean we will have the Szmodics money and potentially the Raya money to spend this window.

2) Venkys have their case pushed back again and the Szmodics money is banked to cover running costs until January

3) Venkys lose the court case, the Szmodics money is used to cover loses whilst a buyer is fou
