The season ticket count can't be done once home match tickets go on sale. I think we will surpass 9,000 based on the numbers provided.

Based on the shambolic goings on last season, it just goes to show the fanbase is still strong, 9000 is an excellent return for a side that spent months looking like it would be playing football in league 1 this season.

Good effort and I hope your loyalty is rewarded by some success of the pitch.

Again the most important figures are the ones showing the make-up of the season ticket sales. How many adults, how many concessions/complimentaries. Bye the way, I don't consider 9000 an excellent return for Blackburn Rovers.

Why rigger? I'd be interested to know.

I’ve not much time for Leeds, but imagine this arriving 3wks before the season starts.

Its not great imagine quality, apologies for that, but the club are asking the loyal away fans to fork out £850 for an away season ticket next season, or lose you loyalty status, disgusting from the club in my opinion. They don't even know which season it is "2024/24 season....."

How many loyalty points do you get for buying a season ticket during covid.?

Asking for a complete mug of a friend that bought one.

‘Over 2,000 under 16 season tickets sold’ according to the club’s latest tweet. So c7k adult tickets sold (obviously senior citizen tickets will be in that figure too).

So yes will be interesting to see how that compares to last season.

Ticket sales are ticket sales, 9000 seats sold after an awful season last season is a very good effort.

If you’re interested in the clubs revenue you’d much rather sell 9000 at top whack, but I don’t think anyone is interested in revenue to be honest, not even the CEO.

He’s certainly interested in whatever the arbitrary sales target is (as presumably his bonus is linked to it)… and funny enough he always does hit it whatever the final tally ends up being, go figure.

Saying Waggot isn't bothered about ticket income hitting certain targets is as far off target as comments can be.

Saying he isn't bothered about much beyond that after commercial income is much closer to reality i'd say.

If he was the least bit bothered he'd be looking to make buying tickets more attractive, you tell us on a regular basis he's not doing that, has never done that and I agree with you.

Does that sound like a CEO interested in ticket income? It doesn't to me.

Because in my opinion Blackburn Rovers deserve and should be getting more than 9000. The shame of the fact is, the season tickets are not value for money.

He is interested in ticket income, he’s always going on about it, alas he’s only bothered to the point of hitting his arbitrary ticket revenue target, a target he knows he’ll hit with the 9k core buying, which is why we don’t see attractive/cheaper adult tickets as why take the risk that he won’t hit it in future if the club offers them.

He’s no interest in the long term health of BRFC and building back its fanbase, and why would he when he’ll be fucking off soon enough.

Do research on him and as iv'e told everyone on here regularly his business ethos is squeeze what you have till breaking point rather than speculate to accumulate.   Go read numerous interviews both business and football before and whilst he pitched up here.

So on that basis he just does what he does to all but guarantee hitting a specific income target, he told us this himself a couple of seasons ago.  Therefore his sole aim is that target, 4 million i think, so once he knows who is in the division his pricing strategy for any coming season is how to get to that target whatever it takes.

As CEO (in title) that is his job and sadly for us his balls aren't big enough to cut adult prices and risk not hitting his - probably bonus and job keeping - related target, despite the thousands extra people it is guaranteed to bring in.

Put it this way if we were in a city of 200k people even he might risk it but we aren't so to him it's the hardcore supports job to carry the burden.

And guarantee him another 300 grand salary or easy money as we might say.

Waggott’s very bothered about money and hitting financial targets. He doesn’t care how many season tickets we sell, as long as he nails the former.

He thinks the current structure is guaranteed £x amount per season, and that his his target.

Reducing costs is a risk. It might bring in more money (and a better atmosphere). But it could also lead to reduced turnover (and a better atmosphere).

Waggot doesn’t want to grow or improve the business. He just wants to hit target A and get paid. So he sticks with the status quo.

That's what you're supposing.

A boring question, but has anyone who purchased a membership got their points allocated yet?

I chose the wrong option, rang to change it but ended up with 0 points (awarded and deducted 25). Kind of defeats the object - they said they'd sort it soon but wasn't sure if it was a widespread issue or due to me selecting wrong option.

Yes, all my points on membership fine. Surprised, they got something right.

Waiting for them to contact me and say they’ve done something wrong!
