England - Lee Carsley Takes The Reins

Recommended Posts

The quality is evident with England but the cautious walking football and back passing is really hard to watch. I suppose the players are inevitably going to play within themselves to some extent to avoid injury, but this team could be so exciting to watch.

It absolutely is his choice whether or not he sings a song. I'll not be making a judgement on his suitability to manage a football team either way.

Edit: "Irish granny", so he's part Irish. Have you any idea of the ill will (justifiably, many would say) that the Irish have towards our monarchy?

Far more than you will ever know

I chose my Father's side.

Ill will ..  Apparently not in the case of Carsley

I'm a republican and an atheist.  Singing God Save the King would also make me a hypocrite.  Maybe Carsely feels the same way.

I'm a Royalist and a Christian.

We choose our sides.

Not singing the National Anthem is unpatriotic.

Can't be many people who enjoy these international breaks 😮‍💨

Bit depressing it's only a month till the next one, then there's one the month after too.

Pointless shite.
