It's so great to see all our new attacking additions on the scoreboard! I hope this form continues throughout the season.

I also hope we score 5 every week.  Might help us sneak play offs!

Did Szmodics even acknowledge the fans then when he came off? Maybe I missed it

Appeared to be in a bit of a strop all evening. Possibly understandable in the circumstances but if he’s still here (touch wood) I expect to see him starting on the weekend.

Thought the same myself and looked quite pissed off. Thought the same on Friday and I spoke to him at half time briefly. I think he wants the move being honest.

Not sure how we are lining up with three strikers on the pitch. If this team were a band it would be called John Buckley and the Strikers.

Vale Ohasi Siggy

      Gueye

Good to see Buckley laying down a marker for a starting place. Weak opposition but he has controlled the game and is my man of the match.

On his day he can offer a more Whartonesque style than Travis or Trondstadt.

The frustration with Buckley isn't ability it's consistently. Over the years he's been coming through and pops up with games where he looks a class above.  He's getting on a bit now and needs to do it week in week out.

the idiots that run the club are going to risk p****s him off badly by not coming to an arrangement with ipswich, who might go elsewhere if this carries on

Just think, the sale of Gally (3 goals last season) more than covered the purchases (and likely also the wages) of Gueye & Ohashi (3 goals in 2 games so far)

I think getting £1.5mil for Gally is amazing business considering how prolific he is in front of goal, I reckon if they could offload Dolan too and get a figure would also be good business. Both had the opportunity to step up last season and neither were able to take their chances. L1 standard forwards in my opinion.

Honestly think we’re doing the right thing. A penny under £10m is daylight robbery and they’ve already pissed a lot of money up the wall on worse players. Make them pay up.
