First half not too bad second half we need at least one new full back  first goal was very bad from our full back, a nes goal keeper would be good, the midfield second half  lost it s bit, a draw was about right

Overall good point at a team who finished in top 6.

But it could have been more satisfying if we had not stepped off the attacking pedal after taking the lead.

Would love Buckley to start ahead of JRC.

And Ohashi, so good at heading for someone his height. That was not an easy goal. Big Mak needs to get up to speed with his fitness. Even Gally when he starts, he plays almost 90 mins most of the time. Cant have a no.9 who plays just 60 mins.

Looking forward to Big Mak and Ohashi strikeforce.

Tied to Pickering.

I'm convinced that a lot of our fans have forgotten what a proper fullback is.

Similar to them forgetting what a proper number 9 is, then... "holy shit what a revelation big Mak is." It'll be the same when we sign a fullback that can defend.

Lucky to grab a point there ,don't think we deserved it at all.

Really poor second half and JE has a lot to answer for with these shite tactics of sitting everyone in our own half and inving all the pressure. Did it against Derby and again today, conceded both times.

Ohashi rapidly becoming a hero

We look undercooked - don't know if the pre-season wasn't long enough or they're pacing themselves, but some players were running in treacle after about 50 minutes today.

Some general thoughts.

Eustace's style is becoming apparent, surprisingly expansive and decent to watch. The problem is when they run out of steam, there's no plan B to control the ball and take a breather. It's much better than what we saw last season though, from an attacking perspective.

Gueye - continues to look effective.

Ohashi - has a goal scorer instinct, shown by living up to the cliche of not showing much before coming alive for the goal.

Pears - can live with him as back up but we need at least an equal to have competition if not someone to get him on the bench.

Siggy - quite a few recent comments on his work rate recently, but noticed he was the one who sprinted back 70 yards to recover the ball when we'd lost it and committed players forward. Yes he was fresher as a sub, but some players would have made a token attempt.

Would have taken a point beforehand, so ok result and good to see we continue to score goals.

Playing one half and phoning in the other has been a trait since the Mowbray years.

We've still got a poor manager and we have a squad that has lost its only decent player from last season, I'm not sure what anyone was expecting.

Burnley will put 5 or 6 past this lot.

I think Eustace has the potential to be a really good manager but he isn’t a magician. If they give him some reasonable backing, I think he would keep us at the top end.

I'd bomb Pears out of the club entirely - you can't play him at this level.

Yep unfair that, we played some good stuff until we lagged in the second half, then Brittain gave them a power up.

And let's not forget they've just given away his best player.

Can't be easy managing this club.

A half-eaten Kit Kat has the same GK ability as Pears - he is absolutely horrific and has dropped at least one major clanger in every league game so far this season.
Not to mention the shitshow that was last season.

I can't stress enough how much we need an actual GK this window.
